This is just crazy. Elissa as MVP for the second time ?  Good grief, I don't see the "point".  Did production anticipate this when they cast her ?  Sure, being Rachel's sister was a BIG factor in her being cast but what's the point in keeping her as MVP. Many fans think production is manipulating the vote, and others think that Rachel is convincing all her fans to vote for Elissa. Whatever the truth is they need to straighten this out and let someone else win MVP, after this coming week. The one problem is that the great unwashed masses who don't have the live feeds and only get their info from the CBS TV shows might in their ignorance vote for one of the HGs who have made the racist and homophobic comments. This would be awkward for the reputation of the show and the producers even if the votes are made in ignorance.

'Big Brother 15' Spoilers: Who Won the Week 2 MVP?
Friday, July 05, 2013

John Kubicek
Senior Writer, BuddyTV

In the first week of Big Brother 15, Rachel Reilly's sister, Elissa, became the MVP, voted by America to make the third nomination. She put David on the block and he went home. Did she win again or did someone else take the MVP in week 2?

SPOILER WARNING: This article contains Big Brother 15 spoilers.

Elissa is the MVP yet again. Friday night the live feeds briefly showed the diary room (either by accident or on purpose), and it showed Elissa sitting next to the MVP envelope.

Aaryn is the week 2 HoH and she nominated Elissa and Helen.

First, let me get out the gratuitous groan of disappointment. Everyone in the house and everyone watching knows the ONLY reason she won MVP for the second week in a row is that her famous, Big Brother-winning sister is tweeting and encouraging all of her more than 90,000 fans to vote for her sister. That's a huge, unfair advantage, and one that many people in the house frequently complain about.

The revelation that Elissa is MVP again isn't going to lessen that frustration. It's so obviously rigged in her favor that it's shameless and disgusting. I complained during season 13 that the producers rigged the events for Rachel to win, and now they're doing the same thing for her sister. To be blunt, it's total bullshit.

UPDATE #1: Elissa pulled Helen aside and told her about winning MVP. Helen suggested not telling anyone else. Elissa then said she should put up Jeremy. Obviously she's only interested in making the most exciting TV show, and she knows Jeremy on the block will bring out his inner Cherokee spirit animal. I can't be the only one who sees that Elissa, like Rachel, is more interested in trying to make good TV than playing a good game. The game itself is interesting enough without having people like Elissa trying to manufacture drama for the producers.

UPDATE #2: After getting interrupted, they got to talk again. They agreed that if Jeremy is their nominee and wins PoV, Kaitlin would be the replacement (or Nick). They also considered putting up Kaitlin and trying to backdoor Jeremy, but they don't seem to understand the rules of the PoV at all.

UPDATE #3: Elissa and Helen have agreed that Jeremy will be the third nominee and, if he wins the Power of Veto, Nick will go up as the replacement. Little do they know that, either way, they'll probably be safe thanks to the Moving Company. But their combined glee over the thought of sending Jeremy home during Aaryn's HoH reign is quite entertaining. (this is what I would like to see. Jeremy is disgusting to the point that I can hardly watch the live feeds when he is pontificating on his superiority. very sick )

UPDATE #4: Unrelated to the MVP, but very amusing, Helen talked with Andy and made sure that the MVP's nominee, if it's someone from Aaryn's group, would go home. Andy agreed. Helen then asked Andy if he thinks Spencer might be working with Jeremy. Andy immediately shut her down and said that she can't possibly think like that because she needs to stick to their Mega Alliance. The irony is delicious. Equally delicious is their confidence that, if Jeremy goes up as the third nominee, he will go home.

I'm certainly rooting for Elissa to lose Power of Veto and get voted out this week. If we have to spend the entire summer watching her win it week after week, it's just going to get even more annoying. Big Brother 15 claims the MVP is supposed to be the person who is playing the best game, and there's absolutely no way that even Elissa's biggest supporters can claim she's playing the best game inside the house. (So it comes down to a false assumption/statement from the producers. They should have said, "the person who can manipulate the game the best.". Rolling Eyes )

Whatever the case, I have high hopes that her MVP status won't help her this week. No matter who she puts up, if Elissa is still on the block at the end of the week, she could go home, especially since the Moving Company seems to agree that she needs to go. They control a large portion of the votes and can probably make it happen.

What do you think of Elissa being the MVP for two weeks in a row? Are you happy to see her fight back against Aaryn or angry that the whole thing seems rigged in her favor?

I voted for Elissa because she has a fight in her. The house treats her like crud yet she rises again. I hope that she wins the POV and puts up Jeremy. I can't stand Jeremy and his MC. They are bullies. The best alliances are nice to everyone and then stab them in the back when the other people are not looking.

I vote for Ellisa And I HATE Aaryn. && The last have or have not challenge Ellisa's team should have won because the other team that dropped CHEATED and kept one of their things on, and when it falls everything is suppose to go off. But no one caught that.

John, I agree with you 100%. Elissa as the continuous MVP just doesn't make sense. I'm uncertain that Rachel is manipulating the vote to that degree,or that production is involved, but regardless we have other deserving candidates, outside the racist, homophobic "group", that are worthy, Helen, McCrae, etc. , that would bring variety and new strategies... Surely Elissa can't keep this up beyond next week....I hope.

The POV comp. is underway right now. We will know later today who won. Ideally, imo, it would be Elissa, Helen, or Candice, the latter being a real long shot.

Big Brother 15 Diary Room Leak Reveals MVP Week 2 & A Daring Nomination Plan

Posted: 06 Jul 2013 07:53 AM PDT

Big Brother 15 MVP

Last night on the Big Brother Live Feeds a Diary Room leak revealed this week’s MVP player receiving the news of viewer’s votes. The insight lasted only a moment and was without audio, but the results were unmistakable. We have the official confirmation of the latest round of Big Brother 15 spoilers for your enjoyment.

Read on for the MVP spoilers for BB15 this week.

Big Brother 15 Week 2 MVP:

Big Brother 15 Diary Room leak of MVP

Elissa is the MVP for the week.

Use the Feeds’ Flashback feature (get the Free Trial now) and watch it happen at 9:29PM 7/6 on Camera 3.

This news shouldn’t be a surprise to anyone at all. Our MVP poll closed with over twelve thousand votes and Elissa had an incredible 53% of that vote with the next place being Nick with 10% and McCrae in third at 9%. Not even close.

Now here’s where things get interesting. The obvious choice would be to target Jeremy, but I think that’s a very difficult task to tackle and here’s why.

Jeremy is part of the Moving Company alliance featuring Howard, Nick, Spencer, and McCrae. Jeremy is also part of an alliance with the HoH-crew girls Aaryn, GinaMarie, and Kaitlin plus Jessie, though those girls have pretty much ostracized Jessie to pariah status. Aaryn doesn’t get to vote, but the rest combined give Jeremy 7 votes to stay. This week a nominee will require 6 out of the possible 11 votes to stay in the game. Evicting Jeremy would be next to impossible.

The next best option would be Kaitlin as it would directly impact Jeremy and undercut his support in the house. This would still be a really difficult move as Kaitlin would likely be able to pull most of Jeremy’s support by extension.

So what’s Elissa’s plan? Nominate Jeremy and use Nick as a back-up option should Jeremy win or be saved by the Veto. It’s a long shot, but developments last night on the Live Feeds could make it possible.

Flashback to 12:35AM BBT on Cams 3/4 to listen in as Aaryn and Jessie (yes, Aaryn will still use her as needed, but she doesn’t like her) discuss Jeremy and his sneakiness. Jessie tells Aaryn that Judd and Andy were instructed by Jeremy to vote out David. Aaryn also notes Jeremy offered her a F2 deal which she knows is a lie.

If Jeremy’s support crumbles with Aaryn then she could press the other girls, outside of Kaitlin, to vote against Jeremy. In that case they could possibly drum up 6 votes to evict vs his 5 to stay.

It’s going to be an interesting week on the Feeds! Veto will be held later today so let’s hope for some fireworks when the MVP nom (Jeremy most likely) is revealed and we know who won the PoV.

‘Big Brother’ Is Hot Topic, But Few Are Watching

by Adam Buckman | July 6, 2013 at 8:06 AM | Big Brother, TV News

House guest David on Wednesday became the season's first resident to be evicted on "Big Brother" (Photo: CBS)

“Big Brother” fell to an all-time ratings low Wednesday night, even as the long-running CBS reality series was making headlines for racist comments made by some of the show’s participants.

The show’s episode on Wednesday night — when the new season’s first guest was evicted on live television — drew 5.35 million viewers, according to Nielsen.

According to stories such as this one on Deadline.com, that number represents the smallest audience for “Big Brother” in its 13-year history.

And yet, as the same stories point out, it was the highest-rated show on any network that evening.

So, what are we to make of that? Well, it’s to be expected that viewing levels would be low across the board on the eve of a four-day holiday weekend in high summer. However, it was also reasonable to expect “Big Brother” to get a bump up in the ratings following the headlines the show has been getting for the unfortunate racial slurs uttered by some of this season’s house guests.

The remarks were heard (and seen) in the uncensored, 24/7 Internet version of the show. And they got at least two of the house guests in hot water in their personal lives when the news got out about what they said.

You would think more viewers than normal would then tune in to see these characters on the show. But for whatever the reasons, the additional hordes did not come. The reason is quite simple. The TV audience isn't aware of the comments made on the live feeds. They don't see the report on the internet, or publications, and the TV show is carefully edited to not reveal the comments. Ignorance is bliss, and low ratings.Rolling Eyes  The hot summer evening may have been one reason. Another may have been that people were repelled by what they were reading about the show and stayed away.

'Big Brother 15' Spoilers: Who Won the Week 2 Power of Veto?
Saturday, July 06, 2013

John Kubicek
Senior Writer, BuddyTV

The Power of Veto is a lot more powerful on Big Brother 15. With half of the people competing nominated, there's a greater chance that it will be used every time, which means no one is ever safe. After McCrae's impressive back-to-back wins last week, who won the second PoV?

SPOILER WARNING: This article contains Big Brother 15 spoilers.

Aaryn is the HoH and she nominated Elissa and Helen. Elissa won MVP again and nominated Jeremy. Nick and Amanda were also chosen to play in the PoV competition, hosted by GinaMarie.

Jeremy won the Power of Veto!

Yes, it turns out that his cockiness is backed up by total domination. He said he'd win and then he did. He really hasn't lost a competition yet, since he won the week 2 HoH with Aaryn and he dropped off the first HoH to win the Never-Not Pass.

Obviously Jeremy is going to use the PoV on himself, and since he's the MVP nominee, the MVP gets to make the replacement nominee. Elissa is most likely going to put up Kaitlin, trying to evict Jeremy's showmance instead. Nick is also a possibility, but prior to the competition, Elissa made a deal with Nick where he would throw the PoV in exchange for her not putting him up as a potential replacement nominee.

Of course that could be trickier than she thinks. Andy, Judd, Amanda and Candice might be on board with turning on Aaryn for a second week in a row and getting rid of one of her close allies, Kaitlin.

However, the MC controls the decision. So while I suspect there will be a campaign to send Kaitlin home instead of Elissa, it's going to be a hard-sell to the MC. However, Spencer and McCrae have already considered voting out Kaitlin since she's so close to Jeremy. The hardest part of it will be McCrae, who is close with Amanda and is torn between his showmance and his boys' alliance.

In the immediate aftermath, Elissa and Helen talked about what a beast Jeremy is and how they need a slingshot to evict him, like David and Goliath. They're basically assuming that he's going to win every single competition he plays in, even mentioning that the PoV was designed for a girl to win, yet he won it anyway. Their plans are even based on the premise that Jeremy will win HoH next week, so they need to wait two weeks to get rid of him.

I know Jeremy is a hothead bully, but I'm amused that they're talking about him like he's some type of demi-god with the power of 10 men.

What do you think will happen? Will Elissa be evicted or will she be able to concoct a plan to convince the rest of the house to take out Jeremy's girlfriend?

It's possible she isn't if the MC wants to keep her, but it seems doubtful. Turning on your alliance week 2 is just stupid. And now that they know Elissa is going after strong guys, the MC knows that if she keeps winning MVP, she'll keep going after Jeremy.

Yeah, I'm afraid Elissa is going home even if it means breaking open the MVP situation. If she could stay longer without MVP that would add some interest however slight. The one I want gone is Jeremy but it looks like some future back door scheme is the only way to do it...
