Saving Mr. Banks

Post  Berry on 2013-12-27, 01:59

The new movie about Walt Disney trying to acquire the rights to the Mary Poppins book is an interesting look into everything that goes into putting a movie project together. Emma Thompson is very convincing as the curmudgeonly author and Tom Hanks really captures the spirit of The Big Mouse himself. Some very funny bits and some touching backstory make this one the whole family can enjoy (although its made for adults...this is in no way "children's entertainment" so I would suggest anyone under 10 years old be left at home)

Thanks for that great review. I was wondering if it was good. Let's see if I can talk someone into a date. :)
