While Janlle has a massive fan base and the producers might think she would boost ratings it is still a fact that most fans want to see a non-celebrity group this season. Therefore I predict that her 'hint' is that she is pregnant.

Concern about Evel Dick. Probably the most infamous house guest of all time, nevertheless a true BB fan would never ignore his troubles.

I don't believe this, at least not all the way. But it would be nice to have Daniele back.... Cutie

New rumors are swirling about the potential concept for the upcoming 16th season of Big Brother.

Big Brother 16 Info Revealed Ahead of June Premiere

Potentially taking after Survivor's recent twist of Blood vs. Water, it is rumored that Big Brother will be bringing back some veteran cast members with their relatives. According to a source on Twitter called Corner Office, Big Brother 16 is supposed to have returning players coming back alongside a loved one. The Corner Office account has since been suspended.

The rumored returning players who were supposedly set to come back for BB16 are sisters Rachel Reilly and Elissa Slater, married couple Daniele Donato and Dominic Briones, married couple Dan and Chelsea Gheesling and son and father Frank Eudy and Sid Vicious. Additional cast rumors include Kara Monaco with an unknown relative and even Aaryn Gries.

Big Brother Contestant Accused Of Racist Comments Says She's Ready For Playboy?

Assuming this "Veterans & Relatives" twist is true, it would go against the various casting calls that took place over the course of the year, with producers looking for new players. Big Brother Access is also reporting that they have heard rumblings about a possible "Relatives" season of Big Brother.

However, nothing has been confirmed thus far despite Big Brother 16 starting in a little over a month.

Last season, Big Brother 15 was hugely controversial when several cast members spewed racist comments. Considering this was an all-newbie cast, there were rumors after the season was over that the producers would be doing an All Star season next in order to control the amount of controversial comments.

I'm not sure this is such a good idea. An unpopular house guest might get 'picked on' by the fans. Of course the prods. could limit that if it gets out of hand...of course the Subscriber-Only people are almost all Powerful and Influential Members of the Viewer Class, such as myself,  angel so we are a responsible group and only use our Great Power for the greater good.  :couchtater:

. New this year are Subscriber-Only online votes for events inside the house which could include punishments and reward

This is an interesting idea, but they should just go with new relative-pairings. Don't bring back old players with siblings/relatives. Of course we don't know if the rumors are true, but only a few more weeks until we see the new HGs and then we'll know if the Blood vs Water concept is true...  scratch woohoo clap

IF the rumors about another All Star season is true and IF they are very careful as to which All Stars they select , then it could be a successful season. At least they would avoid the racial/sexist problems from unvetted new players as happened last year. But there's only some previous players from past seasons that I'd like to see again and only a couple are actually All Stars (winners or very popular) and some on my desired list got booted very early so probably couldn't qualify in that class.

So we finally know what the "twist" will be this season:

https://twitter.com/saints_nation23/status/479329404943085568/photo/1

Two HOHs each week, 4 HGs nominated for eviction each week. But apparently only one can be evicted.  scratch

Which makes sense because if they eliminated two each week they would run out of HGs long before the 3 months were up. But with 4 Hgs nominated, the voting would be diluted among the 4 rather than 2, meaning that the booted HG could go out with relatively few votes.

Meanwhile on Entertainment Tonight, tonight, we will get our first look at the House interior.  clap

The House Guests are revealed!

http://bigbrothernetwork.com/big-brother-16-cast-bios-interviews/

We see that they are all new, unknowns, no All Stars, no Blood vs. Water twists, just good old BB casting standards.

8 women, 8 men. A couple of hotties on both sides (only one female that might meet my definition although that could change once I see them in action in the house.), a couple of geeks, 4-5 ethnic minorities, a good 'ol stereotypical southern boy. One gay person (who that is is yet to be determined. It will be so before the person comes out on the show). A couple of contentious personalities, one of each gender. I could point them out now but it's more fun to let the viewer discover them.

Well geez.....that was simple. this is the gay guy.

Matt Hoffman does his usual hilarious, and accurate rankings of the HGs.

http://bigbrothernetwork.com/matt-hoffman-breaks-down-big-brother-16-cast/

Some excerpts: roflmao

I also started off immediately not liking Brittany (I say “also” because I assume you share my same view that Brittany is as engaging as a wall of drying paint).

Christine would be my favorite contestant this season…IF she never talked or played Big Brother. What I love about her is that, for the first time on Big Brother, we’re finally getting what I consider to be a truly genuinely, nerdy, awkward female who will not ultimately do anything pornographic post-season.

If he wins, Donny says he’s going to use the money to get “laser surgery” on his eyes. And, really…is there anything more awesome than Donny Thompson with laser eyes? I rest my case.

Derrick is a cop. Derrick doesn’t want anyone in the house to know he’s a cop. Someone needs to tell Derrick really soon to stop talking, looking, thinking, behaving, and sounding exactly like a cop.   We also learn that Derrick is one of those honesty/integrity/family-man/blahblahblah types. Being that I watch reality TV primarily for its most vile deviancies, Derrick is not my cup of tea.

Joey also has a GREEEAT (is that how you convey sarcasm on the internet?) plan to form an all-girls alliance…which, as any Big Brother fan knows, works FLAWLESSLY nearly EEEEVERY season! Joey feels this strategy will work perfectly for her because she says she gets along best with women, so she will not get into any cat fights. Joey fails to realize that, historically speaking, there will only be one or two females at most who are mentally-stable enough to form this peaceful, rational, girl-power coalition with.

Nicole Franzel
Curse you, Big Brother, for casting two “chicks with glasses”!…thus, I now have to remember names instead of vague, superficial generalities. Here is an easy mathematical equation to describe Nicole:

Jordan (S10/13)
- Cute southern accent
+ Irritatingly thick midwestern accent
+ Aaryn (S15)
- Racism

Ahhh, what to say about Amber?…no, seriously – what to say about Amber? She’s a model/esthetician, and I would give her a half-million dollars myself if she could spell “esthetician”. Amber SAYS “I try to steer clear of drama and confrontation”, but what I HEAR Amber saying is, “I’m a loony bitch and will be flying off the handle in no time”. Mark my words on this one…she’s just got that crazy look in her eyes.

I have to imagine that some feminist organization had a heavy hand in casting this season, as we now have the THIRD contestant who is adamant about forming an all-girls alliance and sticking together. Failure works best in threes, I’ve been told. Meet Paola…or “Pao Pao”, as she calls herself. I call her “Bye Bye”. Pao Pao reminds us multiple times that she is proud to be the first female DJ ever to play Big Brother. Wow…THERE’S a stat for Wikipedia.

Victoria is one of several recruits this season, but she is a different breed…because coincidentally, she also happens to be a huge fan of Big Brother both nationally and internationally! Based on the fact that Victoria is a superfan who got approached with no initiation on her part and was offered a dream chance to play, I have to assume that Victoria has a horseshoe wedged rather deeply up her ass.

I was fascinated just watching Zach talk. I can’t really even explain it or put my finger on it, but I know it was odd. I imagine that Zach is the guy who bangs a lot of chicks and is totally brazen about it, yet chicks keep banging him anyway and have nearly instant regret.

Caleb reminds me of some nightmarish hybrid between Jeff Schroeder (S10/13) and Chef Joe (S14). Maybe it’s the soul patch…I dunno. I believe that Caleb is the first military man that we’ve seen since Jerry back in Season 10. Another thing Caleb and Jerry have in common?…the inability to speak coherent thoughts at length.

Two things stood out to me about Cody. 1) He has a young Ralph Macchio vibe. 2) He will not last long in Big Brother. Cody is quite boring and seems to just be going through the motions. He doesn’t appear to be enough of a gamer to even make it to jury,

As soon as this video started, I wanted it to stop. Big Brother Network, however, has the same sadistic tendencies as Big Brother itself, and decided to make this the longest interview segment for me to sit through. Frankie Grande describes himself as an “actor/social-media-influencer/YouTube-personality”. That last sentence alone should be enough to explain why I can’t take any more of this

Ugh. This is a tough one. I feel bad that Devin even has to be evaluated by a dickwad like me. Devin appears to be a really REALLY genuinely good dude…the kind of guy you would love to have as your buddy, but that will be drab as can be to watch on TV. Someone needs to fly a banner in the backyard that just says, “RUN, DEVIN!” to try and save this guy from devolving into whatever demonized version of himself he may end up becoming after being trapped with the 15 other nutjobs this summer.

Hayden Voss describes himself in the way that you would expect any unkempt bicycle cab driver dressed in safari gear to describe themselves…as a “hustler” who “knows what it takes to get to the top”. Look, let’s just address the big pink elephant in the room here right now…seriously what the $*#@ are the odds that Big Brother would cast a Hayden Voss only a few years after casting Season 12 winner Hayden Moss?!? Never in my life did I think I’d have to use the phrase “which Hayden?”, but I feel like that will become commonplace amongst the BB fan community now. In order to clear things up for you, I’ve whipped up this handy table:
Hayden Moss             \                                   Hayden Voss
Played college baseball           \                     Played college hockey
Long, flowing, silky golden locks of hair    \    Long, unwashed, lice-infested golden locks of hair
Winner of Season 12                          \              Loser of Season 16
Has $500,000                                    \            Works for tips to pay for ramen noodles
“The Animal” in the Brigade alliance      \          Genetically part animal

Wow. This was an exhausting video, to say the least. Jocasta likes to talk a lot without saying much of anything. Her casting story played out like Chunk’s confession to the Fratellis in Goonies. After rambling on about her husband and her sister and her nail tech and her college roomate’s kid, Jocasta is asked what she will bring to Big Brother 16 that no one else will. This is where she really goes off the deep end talking about some “secret symbol” that she has which will give her powers of some sort that she will reveal at some point but not now. If this sounds insane, it is…

Well, that’s it for me this year. Thanks again to Big Brother Network for giving me the opportunity to dissect my fellow future Big Brother alumni before they ever even step foot into the house. If you enjoyed what I wrote here, then you may be a prime candidate to follow my sarcastic, cynical brain-dumps over on Twitter @HeadOfHOFFhold…so go do that now, because a follow for me is a follow for Jesus.

All in all this looks like an interesting season. Possibly not generating any super stars as in some past seasons, but still......... two thumbs up

I've never heard of Ariana Grande but I suppose her fans may vote for her brother or use the new twist to help him.  scratch

Big Brother Host, Julie Chen

Big Brother has assembled its cast for season 16 and they range in ages from 21 to 42 and careers from minister to YouTube personality. Along with the new contestants come new twists!

In Big Brother 16, there will be two Head of Household (HOH) positions each week. The HOH, each of them, will nominate two fellow Houseguests for eviction each week, BUT being HOH no longer guarantee's safety in the game of the week. Additionally, viewers can influence the game thanks to the added Team America element and there will be a new competition titled Battle of The Block.

PHOTOS: TV you must watch this summer

Julie Chen, you may know her as the Chenbot, returns to host Big Brother 16 on Wednesday, June 25 with eight contestants being introduced that night. The two-part premiere continues on Thursday, June 26 with the second part introducing the remaining eight contestants.

This is weird. I can't figure how they will do this. Usually they just open the house door at the beginning of the first day and all the HGs rush in to claim a bed.  scratch

"When the Houseguests learn about the new twists, they will need to throw out any pre-existing strategy if they want to survive in the game," Allison Grodner, executive producer of Big Brother, said in a statement. "The new Battle of the Block competition will shake up the power in the house like never before. A Houseguest can go from zero to hero, or vice versa, every week!"

Meet the contestants—including Ariana Grande 's brother—below!

I think the other HGs will boot Frankie early on just to avoid the scenario that John fears. The super fans among the HGs know what happened last season with Elissa and will want to avoid that.....

'Big Brother 16' Twist: What is Team America?

John Kubicek
Senior Writer, BuddyTV

Big Brother 16 will be "the most twisted season ever," and they mean it with a lot of new rules and challenges. The 16 new HGs will deal with two HoHs every week, each nominating two people, and thanks to a new competition called Battle of the Block, the HoHs could even be evicted.

Who Are the HGs Favorite Past Players?>>

Another new twist is Team America, which gives fans the chance to vote and influence the game. More details on how viewers will do that will be revealed during the premiere, but for now, we have our first task.

Videos: Meet the Men>>
Videos: Meet the Women>>

On the CBS website for Big Brother 16, there's a section called "Team America Vote." The first question is already up:

"If you had to form an alliance with one of the Houseguests, who would you select? Choose wisely, your vote will impact the game."

What could this mean? The most obvious answer is the return of America's Player, a twist from season 8 in which one HG was forced to do various tasks, vote certain ways and try to get certain people nominated based on America's vote. At the time, the HG (Eric Stein) called it the show's first "alliance of 10 million," so the idea of us wanting to form an alliance with someone in the house makes sense.

Big Brother 16 House Photos>>

What doesn't make sense, however, is the fact that, for the second year in a row, there seems to be a massively unfair bias for one HG. Last season, because Elissa Slater was Rachel Reilly's sister, we all knew she'd win the MVP vote every week (which she did). In fact, the HGs knew it too and planned their entire strategy around it.

This season, that person seems to be Frankie Grande, an established YouTube personality whose sister, Ariana Grande, has 16 million Twitter followers. Being a known entity makes him stand out from everyone else and will almost certainly lead to him winning this first Team America vote, as well as any and all future beneficial votes (up to and including the Fan Favorite at the end of the season, who is given $25,000).

I hope I'm wrong, I hope Grande's fanbase doesn't take over Big Brother 16 and outvote everyone else. But after last season, I doubt my hopes will come true. It's always annoying when the show adds viewer voting, but the producers put their thumb on the scales by having one contestant who is so far ahead of everyone else in terms of supporters.

But who knows, maybe America will surprise me and vote for someone else instead. And maybe Rachel Reilly will never appear on another reality show for the rest of her life.

Big Brother 16 premieres with a two-night Move-In event Wednesday, June 25 at 8pm and Thursday, June 26 at 9pm on CBS, during which the twists will be explained.
