A different way to premire......

Next Friday the 19th. How that 3 night binge watching of the whole season will work out remains to be seen, but the SyFy audience is mostly familiar with the concept so it should be okay. It would never work on the 'mainsteam' networks, NBCCBSABC,etc.

"12 Monkeys premieres in an unprecedented binge event starting Friday, May 19th at 8pm, with all 10 episodes airing from 8-11PM ET/PT each night through Sunday, May 21st on Syfy."

Interesting idea, I'm looking forward to watching it. I wonder how rating compare against a weekly airing schedule.

3 uninterrupted hours per night for 3 consecutive nights is somewhat of a chore. I'll try it , probably can do it, a lot of viewers may be hoping for repeats. It is one of SyFy's best series so that makes it doable.

Okay, I got through the 3 nights with mixed feelings. If the season had been presented in the normal way at the end of each weekly episode we (me) might have said, "That was a little disjointed and confusing but next week's ep will probably clear things up." Then after the end of next week's ep we (me ) might have said....."Hmmm....that still seemed disjointed and confusing".....etc. and that would have gone on for 10 weeks . But this way I can say...."Hmmm...that seemed disjointed and confusing"....etc. after only 3 days ! I guess that's progress..

Good point. I'm not sure this season was an improvement. There were some things that didn't fit. Also, it seems like with the advancement of the time traveling vests not to mention the Titan whoever could jump back to any point and take out the main time machine which seems unprotected and end things rather quickly...
