LMOE starts tonight. Can't tell yet if its all comedy or an apocalyptic commentary on loneliness. Think Tom Hanks and his volleyball.

Yes, I noticed the fuel situation too, in a vehicle getting maybe 10 mpg, and no electricity to pump gas at the stations..But I'm not so sure it's going to last the season, maybe it will being on Fox, but all in all I wasn't impressed. None of those outside scenes were shot in Tucson, I guarantee you. Looked like the Mojave desert.

It's getting better now that January Jones has shown up. She was on Fallon last night. She says she is so uncomfortable and shy in front of crowds that she doesn't know how she "does her job", ie, acting.

Turning into a more interesting show with the addition of more cast.

I'm sure the outdoor scenes are in the Mojave Desert.  More clues with the appearances of the Cholla Cacti, which are the Mojave variety not the "bushier" variety found in the Sonoran Desert around Tucson.

If they are going to cast a show in a recognizable area then they have a responsibility to be accurate in the images. We may ask how many viewers would know the difference in SW deserts and the answer would probably be about 1 %, but so what ? Accuracy is not trivial.

Watched all of S1, first ep of S2 was pretty good. Amusing to see Mark Boone Jr. in a completely different role from Sons of Anarchy. Olivia Wilde's husband now added to cast, a good addition. A very different role for January Jones from her Mad Men role. two thumbs up
