Guardians of the Galaxy

First I read this review (not planning on seeing it):

And it got me to thinking of my early comic book preferences.

This one and its companion Weird Fantasy were my favorites but because of the relatively few issues ever published other Marvel and DC comics were read more often. But I treasured my collection and they introduced me to "real" S-F in that time period.

Some of those writers and artist went on to more famous careers in Mad Magazine and of course Little Annie Fanny.
