If they're not careful Frankie will be able to slip all the way to the Final 3 or even the Final 2 just because Caleb, Cody, and Derrick dithered. Wouldn't that be a hoot ?  The most unpopular HG winning the $50k for second place or even the $500 K ?  That would be a poetic justice. roflmao

Big Brother 16: Caleb Makes His Decision On The ‘Backdoor Frankie’ Plan
By: Matthew Boyer | September 1, 2014 at 2:30 PM EDT

After a long, long night of debate Caleb Reynolds continued to waver between targeting Frankie or going with the status quo of avoiding big moves this season on Big Brother 16.

The plan had been for Caleb, Cody, and Derrick to talk about things again in the morning before the Veto Ceremony. That didn’t happen.

Derrick slept in until just before the meeting. He completely squandered any opportunity he might have had to work on Caleb. Instead, Frankie took advantage of that very same quiet time to work on Caleb and reassured him they were safe and sound together.

At 10:35AM BBT Caleb went to wake up Derrick, less than an hour before the meeting, and told Derrick he was not going to go after Frankie.

Jump to 10:47AM BBT to find Caleb and Frankie alone in the HoH room. Caleb is telling Frankie way, way too much information and mentions how he talked with the other guys and considered all the possibilities. Yes, that includes sending Frankie home this week.

Frankie must be fully tipped off at this point that they were going to come after him. Caleb tells Frankie today would have been the day to go after Frankie since he was vulnerable and would have gone home. Given the chance in the Double Eviction on Thursday I wouldn’t be surprised to see Frankie take a swing just as the guys worried he might.

Derrick joins them at 11:16 AM BBT. Caleb gives him the latest that Victoria is going up and Nicole should be evicted. There will be no surprises at today’s Veto meeting.

The Backdoor plan has failed yet again as Frankie moves closer and closer to the end while the last chance to Backdoor him slips away for the rest of the season.

Just four votes stand between this week’s nominees and Julie’s eviction interview, so who will be going out the front door on Thursday night? Let’s take a look at the Big Brother votes this week.

Now that the Veto Ceremony is over we have the final nominees of the week and this won’t exactly be the most exciting decision to be made. Nor is there really even much talk on what to do and I don’t expect any wild flips between now and Thursday.

Nicole is back in the hot seat and we obviously knew she would be from the time she returned to the game. She’s had four chances to escape eviction and at least extend her stay, but none of those worked out in her favor.

Sitting opposite Nicole is Victoria. Yes, Victoria is back in the role of pawn in lieu of a real target like Frankie going up on the block. Caleb backed down on that one so we’ve got Victoria filling that vacancy and worrying her way through the next few days.

No one is going to vote against Victoria. Nicole is set to receive a 4-0 eviction vote and head out the door. Derrick doesn’t want to lose Victoria. Cody already turned down the chance to work with Nicole. Christine already supported Nicole’s eviction once. And Frankie has been worried about her since she came back in the door.

The real mystery is who goes home second on Thursday during the Double Eviction and that’s where the real excitement will lie. Enjoy your next few days with Nicole and then get ready to say goodbye. Again.

Big Brother 16: Will Guys Alliance Hold To Final 4?

Posted: 02 Sep 2014 08:00 AM PDT

The guys have been running the Big Brother 16 house this season with several of the ladies helping them along. Now things have narrowed down to the final seven with the final five right around the corner. Can the guys keep it together to final four or will they turn on each other before that?

The Bomb Squad started out with eight before being whittled down to the Detonators and their five members. Soon that alliance too fell away with Zach’s departure, the guys distrust of Christine, and the re-inclusion of Caleb. Despite their ups and downs it looked like Caleb, Cody, Derrick, and Frankie may be able to stick it out to the end. But do the guys all want that to happen?

Over the weekend the guys F4 deal looked dead in the water. Caleb was in the position to renom Frankie and all it would take would be two votes to set up Caleb for the tie-breaker. While there was promise it didn’t work out as Caleb backed down after believing Frankie was solidly with them.

But hang on. Deciding not to Backdoor Frankie is one thing, but telling him how close he came to being evicted is another altogether. Yesterday before the Veto meeting Caleb had a heart-to-heart with Frankie where he told him he considered all the possibilities including putting him up. Caleb told Frankie not to be worried, that he wasn’t doing it, but then he stepped him through how easy it would have been and how he had the votes to evict him. Ugh, Caleb.

Sure enough, after the Veto meeting Frankie and Derrick spoke about the near-miss. Derrick asked Frankie if he felt in danger and Frankie told him yes, because Caleb practically told him so.

Later that evening Derrick spoke with Cody to let him know Caleb was spilling the beans around the house. Flashback to 6:45PM BBT. Cody can’t believe Caleb would do that and he is not happy at all about it. Cody tells Derrick that he’d go after Caleb before Christine because of the way Caleb is playing. Of course Cody writes checks all day with his mouth and has never cashed a single one.

Cody proposes he would nominate Frankie and Victoria in the midst of a Double Eviction and push for Frankie to be evicted if he doesn’t win the Veto. Derrick says he’d put up Christine but use Frankie as a renom if it comes to that.

It’s hard to tell who Derrick is being honest with as he’s successfully deceiving most everyone inside the house and tries his best to mislead viewers in his Diary Room sessions. I do still believe he wants to move forward with Cody and Victoria the most of anyone in there, but we’ll have to wait and see.

As for Frankie and Caleb and how they relate to Derrick’s big plans, eh, I’m not so sure. Later last night in a talk with Frankie Derrick denied telling Cody that Caleb spilled the beans so clearly Derrick is telling Cody more than he wants Frankie to know and that should tell us a lot.

When the Double Eviction hits on Thursday the guys will regret not taking out Frankie when they would have had the chance to get Nicole out in the same night. Then again they may still get the chance with Frankie going out the door if everyone is feeling nervous about him.

Considering Frankie’s realization that he was in serious danger he may do something drastic on Thursday given the chance and I wouldn’t blame him. Caleb did a very, very foolish thing in telling Frankie his backdoor plans if Caleb still wanted to go to F3 with Derrick and Cody as he had repeatedly said. Maybe Caleb will still pull it off, but I’m not so sure.

So who would keep the F4 together? Other than Caleb I don’t think any of them would and that’s only because Caleb already did just that! Derrick and Cody are finally ready to get rid of Frankie, but that happened a week too late. Frankie can’t possibly want to risk sticking it out with the guys anymore at this point either.

F3 is even bigger of a mess. Caleb wants Frankie out at that point and we know Derrick has been setting things up for keeping Victoria around at least that stage. Whatever happens should at least be interesting as they all think they’re in control, but only one of them will get to pull the trigger.

Do you think the guys will turn on one another or stick it out until the F4? Their competition to make that happen is just Christine and Victoria which means if something gives then it might be a tear from inside their alliance.

'Big Brother 16' Spoilers: Was the Power of Veto Used in Week 10?
Monday, September 01, 2014

John Kubicek
Senior Writer, BuddyTV

The Power of Veto has been used eight times on Big Brother 16, and five of those times, the replacement nominee was evicted. This week, with Caleb in control, will another replacement nominee get the boot?

SPOILER WARNING: This article contains Big Brother 16 spoilers.

Christine won the Power of Veto.

Christine saved herself. Victoria is the replacement nominee.

Like the last three weeks, the decision has already been made and Nicole will be evicted. Again. Victoria is so useless in competitions that there's no reason to evict her, which could start to become a real problem for the Bomb Squad in the next few weeks.

There was a lot of talk and debate on Sunday night about making a big move and backdooring Frankie because he's a competition beast, sneaky and he's perceived as a big threat to win the game, but it didn't happen. Caleb wrestled with the decision for a long time, going back and forth while talking all night to Cody and Derrick. Cody seemed to push hard for Frankie to go, with Derrick wavering in the middle, but eventually leaning towards taking out Frankie as well. But for some reason, Caleb believes that Frankie will stay true to the Final 4 deal between the four boys.

There was a lot of excitement and drama on Sunday, but it was all for nothing. I don't even know why I get my hopes up, because it's the same story every week. People TALK about making big moves, but then they go with the easy choice.

After the PoV ceremony, Nicole complained to Victoria about how predictable everything is, how no one makes big moves and how Caleb has obviously never seen the show. Basically, she's saying the same things we are.

FUN FACTS

-This is Victoria's fifth nomination. She is one of only 17 HGs to be nominated that many times in one season, a list that also includes Donny and Nicole.

-Derrick has now survived 11 rounds of nominations without ever going on the block, a new record.

-Derrick is only the 13th HG to make it to the Top 6 without ever being nominated. And it has only happened four times since season 6, most recently with Ian Terry. Only six people have ever made it to the Top 5 without being nominated, and no one has done it since April Lewis in season 6.

-Christine, Derrick and Frankie have all made it to 11 votes without ever being eligible to get evicted. Only five other people have ever done this: season 5 winner Drew Daniel, season 7's Janelle Pierzina, season 14's Shane Meaney and Ian Terry and season 15's McCrae Olson.

-This will end Victoria's streak of voting 10 times in a row. This will be the 10th vote for both Christine and Derrick, meaning they join Victoria, season 6's Ivette and season 15's Andy, GinaMarie and McCrae as the only HGs to vote 10 times in a single season.

-This will be Derrick's eighth consecutive time voting for eviction. Only seven other people have ever voted that many times in a row, including Victoria this year.

-This is going to be the third season in a row with at least four men in the Top 6. It also happened in seasons 10 and 12.

-If Nicole is evicted with a 4-0 vote, it will be the eighth unanimous vote of the season, an all-time record. It will also mark the first time ever that everyone in the Top 6 reached that point without ever having a single eviction vote cast against them.
