If they do succeed in booting Tiffany next Thursday I'll be mad and would then transfer my ever faithful allegiance to Nicole who is quite popular and does have better game strategy than Tiffany.

Big Brother 18 Spoilers: Week 3 Nominations
By: Matthew Boyer | July 8, 2016 at 2:34 PM EDT

Bridgette Dunning is the new Head of Household for Big Brother 18 and her nomination spoilers are in thanks to updates from the Live Feeds following the latest Nomination Ceremony. Find out who was sent to the Block this week.
BB day 23 Nominations-today-splash-screen-00-560x325
We listened in overnight as Bridgette and her teammate Frank came up with a plan for who should go up and she stuck to the plan leaving us with a pair of nominations that should make this a tense week.
Big Brother 18 Week 3 Nominations:

  • Bridgette nominated: Paul and Tiffany

Frank wanted Tiffany out right away and he’s damn lucky that Bridgette won. She’s got his target on the Block while he would have been the one up there by the end of the week if Paul had ended up winning instead.
While Tiffany was in on the plans to get Frank out it looks like he got to strike first and that has the other HGs backing off. The latest talk overnight with HGs like James and Nicole had them ready to let Tiffany go rather than fighting to keep her.
Paul is a pawn again this week but if Tiffany comes down you never know who would go up and become the new target. He’ll need to fight again for that Veto and maybe we’ll see him rescued from the Block for the third straight week as well.
What do you think of Bridgette’s noms? She’s not going to endanger Bronte or Natalie, so who else do you think she should have targeted this week?

It turns out on Big Brother 18, the paranoid apple doesn't fall far from the crazy tree. Tiffany, sister of Big Brother 17's Vanessa, is already starting to show that she resembles her sister in more than just looks and sound. Tiffany also has a bit of that crazy Vanessa "charm."

Tiffany's paranoia and hyper-competitiveness have already made her the target of her two alliances (the 8-Pack and the Fatal 5). A plan is being hatched about whether she should be eliminated early in Big Brother 18. Tiffany might be a liability in some aspects but the 8-Pack and the Fatal 5 would be foolish to eliminate Tiffany so soon.

Big Brother 18 Recap: The Veto Spells Trouble for Victor and Tiffany >>>

Contain The Threat...

There's no doubt that living in a (relatively) small house with Tiffany must be exhausting. Like her sister before her, Tiffany's allies spend as much time trying to calm Tiffany down as they do trying to work with her. It's dizzying as an audience member to keep track of the moods of erratic houseguests and that craziness must be multiplied when actually living with them. So it really is no wonder that as soon as Da'Vonne saw the slimmest hint that Tiffany might be as unpredictable as her sister that she started mentally packing Tiffany's bags, especially after going through the same thing with Vanessa. Fool me once, shame on you. Fool me twice, shame on me... you get the idea.

Still, it's a way too impulsive decision to get rid of Tiffany this early in the game. There are signs that Tiffany has a lot of Vanessa in her. Yet Tiffany's big Vanessa breakdown was really just a pale imitation of the craziness that Vanessa got up to in her season. Vanessa was dangerous because not only was she paranoid and emotional but she had the power to back up her paranoia. Vanessa's imaginings of Big Brother demons coming after her often were conjured out of thin air. Tiffany's paranoia was sparked by the very real threat of her being on the block. Tiffany just wanted to ensure safety for herself and there are worst things to do in the Big Brother house.

Tiffany might be a mini-Vanessa but the key word there is mini. There are a ton of ways to deal with Tiffany's paranoia and eviction should be the last one on the list. Tiffany might need to be coaxed and reassured but it's worth the added effort. Da'Vonne and the rest of the Fatal 5, now kind of the Fatal 4, are leading the charge for Vanessa's possible eviction when in actuality Tiffany's eviction would hurt them the most.

...And Maintain the Numbers

Vanessa's threat was that she was a competition beast as well as a paranoid Big Brother hypochondriac. So far, Tiffany's performance in competitions has been a step above Paul and Bronte but that still means she is atrocious. There is very little reason to be scared of Tiffany, despite all the hamsters spinning all those many wheels in her head. Tiffany is a number. Right now the 8-Pack and Fatal 5 need numbers. They might be the majority and going up against dummies like Paul and Bronte who are aided by non-entities like Michelle and Natalie, but there is still a clear division in the house.

Does Paulie Calafiore Have Any Chance of Winning Big Brother 18? >>>

It almost always happens on Big Brother, but houseguests never seem to learn their history. You never get rid of your own alliance members when there are other enemies in the house. They might think by picking off on their one of their own in a majority alliance it's just a single vote but it never works that way. The first person to go in a majority alliance is the first in line of dominos that ends with the destruction of the alliance. The 8-Pack and maybe more importantly the Fatal 5 can't afford to fall apart this early in the game.

BB day 23 Bb18-bblf-20160625-1719-tiffany-500x300
The Fatal 5 might be the most interested in getting rid of Tiffany, but it would be the death knell for their alliance. The Fatal 5 is probably the strongest alliance in the house and not just because it is full of some of the smartest players in Big Brother 18. The Fatal 5, including Tiffany, has the numbers advantage in the 8-Pack. The Fatal 5 can easily pick off the 3 remaining guys in their alliance when the time comes. This time, for the reasons listed above, is ideally when it is just the 8-Pack left in the house.

To have the best chance of going through with that plan the Fatal 5 needs Tiffany. If Tiffany is evicted and the 8-Pack brings in Paulie to keep that solid 8, the Fatal 5 becomes the Fatal 4 and loses their advantage within in the alliance. At best they are looking at 50/50 split within the 8-Pack which isn't ideal for anyone. It is in the best interest of the 8-Pack to keep Tiffany and try to deal with her paranoia as opposed to giving up and sending her out of the house.

But what do you think? Does Tiffany need to go on Big Brother 18? Is she too much of a danger or can she be used? How do you think she measures up to Vanessa? What would you do if you had to play with Tiffany?

Big Brother 18 airs Sundays and Wednesdays at 8pm and Thursdays at 9pm on CBS.
