This is worth seeing. Not surprising that it's getting good box office. Anna Gunn has a small role as a NTSB official. Didn't recognize her at first. Put on a little weight since Breaking Bad.

I could have done without the Katy Couric and David Letterman scenes but I suppose they thought they needed to be included for historical accuracy. At least they were brief.

Arron Eckhart plays Jeff Skiles the co-pilot. Jeff writes a monthly column in EAA's Sport Aviation magazine.

In an early scene where Sully is learning to fly as a teenager, he does it in a Stearman 6. It's still flying.
