On last night's ep an actress playing "Rhonda",  Winston's ex, or she would be his ex if he can get her to sign the divorce papers, was really funny playing a "prankster".  She looked very familiar, but I couldn't place her.

Then in the credits I see she's Sonequa Martin-Green who plays Sasha on The Walking Dead.....duh...I'm such a bad fan. But in my defense on New Girl she had nice clothes, hair, and make up and even changed her voice whereas on TWD she is usually dressed in grubby clothes, hair tied back, no make up, and often covered in blood and gore after using a knife/spear/ax on a Walker. So she can be a good comedian too.  two thumbs up And....she gets to be on the new Star Trek TV series... clap

Notice that two of the exec. prods. , Harberts and Berg, were writers on Roswell.

When will this series be situated?

The series will take place between the events of Enterprise and The Original Series, and has been described as "10 years pre-Kirk". Since Kirk was born in 2228, it stands to reason that the series will be placed around 2218. As such, the series will be situated in the Prime Universe, in which The Original Series, The Next Generation, Deep Space Nine, Voyager and Enterprise took place, as well as the first ten movies. This is before the so-called Kelvin Universe split off in 2228: in this timeline, Star Trek: the Future Begins, Star Trek Into Darkness and Star Trek Beyond take place.
