Matt may be morphing into a 'sore loser' mode, but it is true that he's never really played the game, but neither has Raven. Neither has noticeably been engaged in strategy talk or strategizing with other HGs. So he is still in line to be evicted on Thursday and when he is Raven will descend into paranoic depression and will long for nothing except to join him in the Jury house as soon as possible. But she may have to wait longer than next week because Kevin is the larger strategic target. Meanwhile the penalty vote concept may cause problems for Production. How many penalty votes can one person accumulate ? One has been the norm in the past but with Matt likely getting evicted with just the normal votes it's academic that one or more penalty votes would make any difference so Prod. just may let it ride and allow him to violate all 'Have Not' rules for the next two days.

'Big Brother 19' Spoilers: Matt Gets a Penalty Vote
John Kubicek

Senior Writer, BuddyTV

It was another manic Monday on the Big Brother 19 live feeds as the Power of Veto ceremony led to some big fights, lots of yelling and a rare occurrence in the game: a penalty vote.

SPOILER WARNING: This article contains Big Brother 19 spoilers.

Jason won the Power of Veto.

He did NOT use it.

Jason left Matt and Raven on the block and what followed was a tense fight. Raven was furious and Matt's voice got very high-pitched as he accused Jason of not being a man because he lied. The confrontation was followed by awkward silence.

However, Matt has decided that he's going to be evicted to ensure that Raven stays in the game. Since he's a Have-Not this week, one of his strategies is simply to ignore the Have-Not rules in order to rack up as many penalty votes as possible.

On Monday Matt began eating regular food. Shortly thereafter, Jason emerged from the diary room with a special announcement. Because Matt violated the rules of being a Have-Not, he has received a penalty vote. This means he will get an extra eviction vote cast against him this week.

This isn't the first time this has happened. Jen Johnson did it in season 8 and Audrey Middleton did it in season 17. But Matt didn't stop there.

After he received his penalty vote, Matt proceeded to take a hot shower, eat regular food and he even spent the night sleeping in a normal bedroom with Raven and not the Have-Not room.

So far Matt has only received the one official penalty vote and it's unclear if the rules will result in him getting multiple penalty votes for his constant rule violations. The whole situation isn't much of a surprise since Matt never cared about the game at all, never bothered trying to play it and instead, he just wants to help Raven win.
