BB day 80

BB day 80 Empty BB day 80

Post  Banjo 2017-09-08, 16:32

Things are beginning to ramp up faster as they get the HG numbers down to the Final 3 for the week of the 18th and the finale on the 20th.

Meanwhile, last night Julie announced that there will be a Celebrity BB this winter. No dates announced yet.  This has been done several times in the UK BB and possibly other countries. Without having seen those other Celebrity seasons we can't say exactly how successful they were other than blog reports about some diva attitudes, but we don't know anything about  the British celebs or their reputations over there.

Getting 12-14 or however many celebs they plan on having here won't be easy because they are sequestered for weeks, but not as long as the regular BB seasons. And the reason any celeb would want to do it is for the publicity which rules out most or any really high profile celebs, so we are left with people who are celebs mainly in their own minds but still accomplished at something, similar to some of the celebs on DWTS.
Fans have been wondering for some time why the U.S. has never had a celeb BB. Now we'll find out ....... scratch

There are rumors that the 'celebs' will just be HGs from past seasons. This is possible, and if they pick the right ones, who are willing to come back, it could be pretty good because some of those people are real celebs in the eyes of BB fans if not known to the general public. But I'll believe that scenario when I see it. Suspect

Big Brother 19: Nomination Anticipation In Week 11

Josh Martinez plans his nominations on BB19

We have arrived at the Final 5 for Big Brother 19 and it won’t take long for us to see things break down to a F4 with the early eviction episode next Wednesday. So who is going up as the main target this round? There won’t be any surprises if you’ve been following along the past few weeks.

Alex secured the F6 HoH during the wild Double Eviction last night which meant Paul’s primary plan was out the window. Raven fell victim to those circumstances, but she would have a round or two later anyway. Now Alex is vulnerable and ready for her next chance at eviction.

Josh has the HoH key around his neck and he’s ready to do finish the job of taking out “Jalex” this week. With only five HGs left and one of them safe as HoH there really are only a very few options. And as we’ve heard repeatedly from Josh in his camtalk sessions, as much as he’s concerned about Paul he will not turn on him.

It’d be a crazy week to watch if Josh decided he could get to the end without Paul’s help but he won’t. There won’t be any shocking betrayals here. Josh is committed to his trio and that leaves him with just two options right now.

Alex and Kevin will be nominated later today. From there they’ll be on to compete in the Veto on Saturday. This will be a do-or-die situation for Alex but don’t for a moment be surprised if Paul convinces her yet again that Kevin is the target and she’s safe. Alex asked the trio (not knowing they’re a trio) to just tell her if she’s the target, but they won’t do that just yet. At best it’ll be after the Veto is decided and they know what’s going to happen for sure.

Should Alex or Kevin pull off the Veto win then we’ll have to see if Josh renoms Christmas or Paul, but it still won’t matter at the end of the round. Paul actually hopes Kevin pulls off the Veto win, but that’s because he wants to avoid having not save Alex and expose their game. I wouldn’t hold my breath for a Kevin PoV win though so we could get something interesting to see debated in the next few days.

I’ll admit it’s a tad sadistic, but if we get to the next eviction with Alex and Kevin still on the Block then I’ll be a bit tickled to see her go before Kevin after all the endless s**t talk she’s done about him. I wouldn’t mind a little bit of revenge for Kevin, even if it’s short lived for him.
TL;DR

   Josh won HoH
Alex is the target with Kevin as backup
Josh plans to nominate Alex & Kevin
   Results expected later tonight

Big Brother 19 Schedule: Special Eviction Episode Next Wednesday

Julie Chen is ready for Big Brother 19

Five Houseguests and less than two weeks to go on Big Brother 19 means we need to start ramping up the pace even more. Last night’s Double Eviction was a step in the right direction but next week there will be two more eliminations to get us down to the season’s Final 3 Big Brother Houseguests.

Instead of another DE there will be two separate eviction episodes between Wednesday and Thursday night starting on Sept 13th. Houseguests won’t have to wait that long for the results though as Julie will likely be arriving on their screen a day sooner.

Last year this was a special Tuesday episode but the routine should be the same. Feeds will go down a day before the episode and the HGs will get an early eviction event before the next round of events will take place in a compressed fast forward week. This year that means Feeds going down next Tuesday until after Wednesday’s special show airs.

Now while CBS will do their best to protect the results of who gets evicted and who wins the next Head of Household comp we did get those spoilers leaked early last year. Fingers crossed we’ll have the same happen again this round, but if we don’t that news will be revealed and confirmed when the Feeds come back after Wednesday’s episode finishes out west.

All this means we’ll see two HGs evicted next week to yield our F3 by the end of Thursday night. Someone will be out the door on Tuesday night in the game but we won’t see it until Wednesday. When the Feeds come back after Wednesday’s episode we’ll leap forward to the latest results with the next HoH and the season’s most critical Veto win.

Best part is these episodes will all be held in their regular time slots of Wednesday at 8/7c and Thursday at 9/8c so there’s no shuffling on your DVR or nightly schedule. Now there will be a fourth episode next week that’s off the usual routine. CBS has moved up the regular Sunday (9/17) episode to that Friday (9/15) due to the Emmy Awards that Sunday. So be sure to clear your Friday night for that.

We’re nearing the final stretch of Big Brother 19! Are you ready to see things close out and move on to get ready for Celebrity Big Brother arriving this winter?
