Casting call for Independence Day II

ALBUQUERQUE, NM Casting Notice - Feature Film "Independence Day 2" for work on TUESDAY 6/30/15.

We do not have call/wrap times so you would need to be fully 100% available on each work date. You MUST have open/flexible availability if submitting so that you can work WHATEVER the call times & wrap timesend up being. If not, please DO NOT SUBMIT!

Pay rate for EXTRAS is $72.00 for 8 hours ($9.00/hour with a 8 hour guarantee). Overtime will be paid after 8 hours. You will receive a check in the mail usually 10-14 business days AFTER you work.



Location is in the ALBUQUERQUE, NM area (Albuquerque Studios)

*EXTRAS*:
SECRET SERVICE: male, all ethnicities, age range 26-48, clean-cut, conservative, fit/athletic possibly muscular, height range 5'11"-6'4", should already have or be willing to have a military haircut. Prefer those who have their own black suit but not required. Haircuts will be paid an additional $20.

WASHINGTON DC DIGNITARIES: male and female, all ethnicities, age range 25-75, upscale, clean-cut, conservative, professional, politican and military types, should have your own upscale professional attire.

Well heck...my "upscale professional attire" doesn't fit anymore.....and would I even want to play a "Washington DC dignitary" anyway ? The "conservative" part is okay though.

Photos submitted should be of you cleanly shaven (or facial hair and/or hair neat & tidy) and you should be wearing business attire. **PLEASE INCLUDE A PHOTO OF YOURSELF in either BUSINESS ATTIRE -and/or- if you are/were in the Military, a photo in your DRESS UNIFORM!!!

Saw this on the news. They did it in one of the big stages at Albq. Studios. The cast sat in a semi circle. There was a futuristic looking jet fighter in the back ground.  It looked like Joss Whedon was in the group....

I liked the first one. I am eagerly awaiting the release of this one, too.

I just saw on the news that they wrapped on Friday. They donated to the city the big Mediterranean Cypress trees that were on the White House 'lawn' on the set where we did the panic/fleeing scenes. They are real and were in big pots so the city will plant them somewhere. Presumably they will survive our winters.

Exactly why they were planted on the WH lawn is mysterious but 20-30 years from now who knows what 'was' going on.
