Re: Dispatches From Elsewhere on AMC
Are the fewer roles for actresses because trans actors are getting more roles?

Re: Dispatches From Elsewhere on AMC
Not sure how many trans actors are getting roles, but 'non-trans' are still doing okay I'd say, looking at the Golden Globes and Oscar noms. as a few examples. This 'Dispatches' production may give trans a role, but who they are in it escaped me.

Re: Dispatches From Elsewhere on AMC
After watching 20 minutes at the beginning and 5 minutes at the end, this looks a little too "cute" and mysterious to be worthwhile. I'll give it another try tonight but this is what happens when one person is in control with no input from others. Segel is the producer, director and writer, at least for that first episode. His 'vision' needs to be tempered in some way, and the cast isn't all that interesting either.
