Blue Bloods season 12

Episode one was excellent. The only cop series to show, even if in a fictional way, the hellish cesspool that NYC has descended into these day. Of course the character of the Mayor couldn't descend to the criminal level of the 'real' mayor but the day by day , hour to hour, situations that the police face there was well represented in the opening sequence.

If Blue Bloods tried to do an "art imitates life" fictional version of this no one would believe it or accuse them of gross exaggeration....but there it is.

This is fairly common, so maybe not as hard to fictionalize.

Last night was ep 250 ! It was good. More of their interpersonal relationships.
