BB 13 week 6 day 4.

What Kubicek says here is certainly true. How many of the house guests are totally onto her is still questionable but in the fan polls 46 % are negative toward her.

Not too much drama during the last two days, it's usually fairly quiet during this time because they have no 'live' appearances until tomorrow, which will be a doozy.

Tonight will be the showing of Saturday's POV comp. which Jeff won and Lawon was put up as his replacement by Kalia. Lawon protested mightily, supposedly a fake response ,because he thinks that when he is booted he will come right back because of the "twist" (untrue) or be given the option by the producers to take a "cash settlement" to leave permanently. Also untrue, this never happens. So he's living in a dream world and when he walks out of the house tomorrow night that's the last time you'll see 'ol Lawon, until the season finale.

However, last night there was an interesting interval when out on the patio about 10 pm PDT, Jordan, Jeff and Rachel were discussing what the "twist" in the game that Julie warned about would be. Most of their speculations were the usual inaccurate ones, but then Jordan running through them, stumbled on the reality. She said, "Wow, wouldn't that really be a twist ! " They all laughed, certainly that wouldn't happen....they went on to other things. But you have to marvel at Jordan's thought processes. This isn't the first time that she has "solved" things with inexplicable lines of reasoning. She was the only one to guess that it would be Hasselhoff coming into the house, it took her about 10 seconds.

Right now I'm waiting for the Morning Update. We''l see what Missy and Diana have to say about developments and what the fan call-ins think...

Why Shelly is the Bill Clinton of 'Big Brother 13'

Over the past few days, it's become clear in the Big Brother 13 house that Shelly Moore, the nice older lady of the season, is the most deceitful and manipulative houseguest. She has shown a pattern of underhanded behavior, but I'm sure she'd claim that she never lied. That's because she's playing the Bill Clinton card.

Surely you remember how the 42nd president of the United States vowed that he "did not have sexual relations with that woman," only to be exposed as a liar to the world. Only he didn't think he was a liar, because it depended on what your definition of the word "is" is. That's the same game Shelly plays.

Shelly chooses her words very carefully so that no one can ever accuse her of outright lying, but that doesn't change the fact that many of her promises and conversations have been full of half-truths and intentional misleading.

Look at the first week, when she sided with the veterans to evict Keith. She never actually said that she voted to evict Porsche, but she certainly encouraged people to believe it and carefully danced around any actual confrontations. She let all of the newbies think she was still working with them and even led them on, but she'd claim that wasn't a real lie.

Look at week 3, when Dominic told her about his plans to try and get rid of the veterans. Shelly ran straight to Jordan to spill the beans. Now did Dominic specifically tell Shelly not to say anything to the veterans? No, so in Shelly's mind, she didn't lie since she never swore to keep it a secret. But there was an obvious implied bond of trust, and Shelly broke it.

Now look at this week, where Shelly has scurried over to Kalia and Daniele and agreed to be in a final three deal with them. She then tried to get Kalia to nominate Porsche, allegedly to win back Jeff and Jordan, but secretly, Shelly was trying to manipulate her into doing something so Shelly and Adam could vote with Jeff and Jordan to keep Rachel this week. Did Shelly ever specifically lie? That depends on what your definition of the word "lie" is.

But the fact that, after she put her plan in motion, she ran into the storage room with Jordan and jumped around for joy, giddy that her trickery was working, is proof that she knows she's being deceitful. She knows she's being manipulative. However, I think, in her mind, she's still not lying. That's the part that annoys me. I love deceitful and manipulative game players on Big Brother, but I can't stand the ones who cloak what they do in a self-righteous, morally superior attitude.

That's what I think Shelly is doing. You can't be sneaky and underhanded and still drive on the moral high road, but that's exactly what Shelly is doing.

On the live feeds Monday night, Kalia and Daniele stumbled onto the right idea, but they didn't grasp onto it. While chatting in the HoH room, they surmised that Shelly has made deals with everyone in the house promising that she won't ever put them up if they never put her up. The trick is, if Shelly never wins HoH, then she's always safe and she never has to break her word. It's a gloriously devious strategy and it's exactly what she's doing, but Shelly is too morally superior to fully embrace the villainous way she's playing the game.

If Shelly would just admit that she's being deceitful and dishonest, if she would just acknowledge that she knows she's not being a "straight-shooter," I could forgive her and love her. Instead, she's pulling a Bill Clinton and maintaining her innocence, when it's clear to everyone that she did have sexual relations with that woman, because this week, Shelly screwed over Kalia in a big way.

Diana brought up some good points from yesterday which I had overlooked. She pointed out that Shelly is paranoid about Lawon. She thinks he is some sort of BB "plant" brought in by the producers to "float" through the game for a fee. She can't figure out why this would be, but she is accurate in pointing out that Lawon never washes dishes, never cooks anything, and doesn't do his own laundry. She is about 99.9 % wrong (you can never be 100% about anything in BB) that he is a plant but it is funny to watch her paranoia when the mood strikes her. And as both Missy and Diana have observed, she is beginning to "rise in the radar" of the other HG's as being a threat and becoming a bigger target.

And now, out on the patio they are still speculating on the "twist" and are off base again. They know that an evicted player is coming back but what they have never figured out is that the evicted player from tomorrow must compete against a previously evicted player chosen by "America's Vote". The fans know this of course and our opinion is that it will be between Brendon and Dominic. The "smart" choice would be Dom, but some fans think that the "great unwashed masses" of viewers that only watch the CBS shows will vote for Brendon because they think that the producers will slant the edits to make Brendon look sympathetic.

Who ever it is has been kept a closely guarded secret.The voting is closed , the choice will be revealed tomorrow night just before the comp. with tomorrow's bootee, expected to be Lawon. Against either Brendon or Dom he will lose, barring a miracle. If Dom wins it will be a big plus for Dani and Kalia, although Kalia's reign as HOH has been so flakey that it's hard to tell where she will veer next. If Brendon wins it will be dangerous for Dani as she must then win more HOH's and/or POVs to remain safe for more weeks. However last night Jordan, Jeff, and Rachel in their patio convos did admit that "Dani will be hard to get out".

Meanwhile today is "picture day" and the HG's must get "presentable". The HOH , Kalia, is given a camera and she will go around taking posed and candid pics of the HG's for publicity purposes. They are shown online at the CBS site as well as during the TV show.

Then this afternoon on Super Pass, Ragan will do his weekly "Getting Schooled with Ragan" interview with "Spicy", who is , incidentally, probably one of the hottest Super Fans. Ragan's opinions and insights are very valuable because as a univ. prof. and former BB houseguest (they are careful to not reveal what university, but his students know of course) he cuts through the BS and points out what almost always turn out to be truths. Also being gay, he has hilarious ways of describing the HG's actions and schemings.

No Wheat Cheks for Dani this morning ! She looks to see what's in the 'frig. See's that they need milk after pouring herself a glass.



She goes to the store room where their groceries are kept. The BB crew keeps it stocked.



Oh-oh. putting the milk away, a small glass container fell out and broke. She carefully picks up all the glass.



She sliced some really big mushrooms and onions and starts frying them. Then put a tortilla and avocado in her plate. Then dumped the fried mushrooms and onions on the tortilla. This is her breakfast, actually brunch, since it's after 11 am PDT.





Without any kind of meat in it, it wouldn't be my choice but whatever floats her boat.... :lol:

Brunch is over and Shelly and Dani are on the patio discussing Lawon's actions. Shelly is on her paranoia kick again about Lawon being a plant. She is relating Lawon's strange actions last night.....







Dani says, "Now there are two crazies on the block. One might want to stab me in my sleep"...Rachel.....and "One just needs to be locked up"...

Now Shelly is wondering if there is more than one "plant" in the house. She'd better be careful before she goes off the deep end.... :lol:

I just noticed that Dani's T-shirt says, " Brunette today, blond tomorrow.".... :lol:

Oh-oh, now at 1:15 PDT, Daniele is talking to Kalia while Kalia eats lunch in the HOH room. Dani has nailed the truth of the "twist", except for the fact that America's Vote. will determine the exact returnee. Dani guesses that it will be Brendon or Dom. She is trying to pound this into Kalia's head. It's hard....both to do it, and Kalia's head....

Shelly is back on the patio and is sinking deeper into paranoia. Now she thinks that Lawon may be this season's America's Player. This is a house guest that is assigned to come in and play according to strategies voted on by fans....mostly the CBS audience fans, not the hard core. This makes no sense if she was familiar with past season AP's which she claims to be. Lawon is doing nothing rather than following a discernable strategy. She says ," If I'm wrong I'll feel like a fool, but I don't think I am."......snicker.

Kalia has her camera going.....





Ragan coming up.....this is turning out to be a very entertaining day...
