Hard to tell at this point what anyone will do but the double eviction is always a rushed event. They have very little time to pick the second evictee.

‘Big Brother 18’: James Suggests He May Flip The Vote On Paulie
By: Matthew Boyer | August 8, 2016 at 1:30 PM EDT

Just when I thought James Huling was going to throw away a potential game changer twist this week it looks like there’s a chance he may be ready to flip the plan and vote out Paulie Calafiore’s ally Zakiyah Everette after late night talks resulted in a new course of action, but shhhh, don’t tell anyone.

James tells Natalie he has an idea

Houseguests were up late enjoying themselves when we found James and the current top target, Michelle Meyer, awake and chatting away in the back bedroom. James was sharing advice to Michelle on how to up her chances of survival while she made some comments that surprised James and gave him pause with a new idea.

Flashback to 4:25 AM BBT 8/8 for James and Michelle’s chat. They’re starting out with light talk about how Michelle needs to work on the HGs this week. A few minutes later she mentions that if she wins HoH then she’ll be ready to make a big move to go after some of the sneakier Houseguests which she promises James wouldn’t include him or Natalie. James likes what he’s hearing and tells Michelle not to count herself out just yet.

Michelle asks whose vote she might this week (FB 4:31 AM BBT). James tells her that Paul would vote to keep her. Not only that but he points out that thanks to his Care Package power she would only need 3 votes if he was aiding her in the process. If she had Paul’s vote locked up then he and Natalie could join in and save Michelle. Now that’s a big thing to say.

Several minutes later Michelle mentions how Victor told her that everyone in the house is working in pairs. We’ve got James/Natalie, Corey/Nicole, Paulie/Zakiyah, and so forth. Michelle asks James not to tell that, but guess what.

Natalie walks in and asks James to make some food with her so he leaves and they go to the storage room. This part is worth listening in on so Flashback to 4:38 AM BBT.

James tells Natalie he thinks they should keep Michelle. Natalie agrees. He says Michelle suggested she would make big moves and go after big players other than either of them. It’s hard to tell who they think that might be but it seems like Victor could be who they’re thinking.

Talk continues and at 4:41 AM BBT James says, “I’m almost kinda like set now. Maybe we should send… [Zakiyah out].” Natalie immediately agrees, “I told you.”

James worries that Paulie may be trying to use Zakiyah to do his dirty work and go after him, Natalie, Corey, etc. but with Zakiyah gone then Paulie won’t be as likely to take those shots himself. So he’s worried about Paulie, but wait for what he says in a moment.

James reminds Natalie that it’d just take their two votes plus Paul’s to make this happen. It’s definitely achievable if he’s willing to go against Paulie. That still seems like a big if to me, but maybe.

So who would James cancel out? “To keep Paulie safe I can cancel out his vote so he gets no blood.” What? You’re concerned that Paulie could use someone to come after you but you want to look out for protecting them? If you’re going to burn someone then really burn someone here and let him vote out Michelle who would stay. Sheesh.

To go along with canceling out Paulie’s James said he could either nullify the vote from Nicole or Corey. That’d put Zakiyah’s votes to stay below the threshold. Natalie says she’s onboard and has been working with Michelle to make this work if she stays.

Okay, wow, so I’m surprised by this. James is considering it and Natalie may continue to push to make it happen because she’s definitely liking the idea as we soon see her working on building support for it.

James tells Natalie he has an idea

Move forward to 4:58 AM BBT to find Natalie and Bridgette stepping away for a private talk in the bathroom.

Natalie asks Bridgette who she wants to go, but Bridgette dodges the question while answering that Victor appears to want Zakiyah out while Corey may want Michelle out.

Natalie reminds Bridgette that James has the special Care Package power and it might change the plans this week. She also tells Bridgette that James would respect Victor’s HoH and support whatever he wants. Now that sounds like a cover story to me.

Bridgette cuts in that the decision will really come down to Paulie and he’s controlling the whole house. She was advising Natalie to watch out with making any plans that may run counter to Paulie’s own plans.

Bridgette also notes that she’s been asking around and everyone seems to say that they trust Paulie. She’s on to his game. Natalie says she’s also been figuring this out.

Bridgette asks Natalie not to repeat what she’s told her back to James. Natalie promises Bridgette that she can trust James now and he would never put Bridgette up again. Natalie assures Bridgette she can trust her now too. They do a spit shake on it and the talk breaks.

Interesting stuff here. This would make a big change in the game should James decide to use his power to move against Paulie and weaken his standing in the game. If James takes this pitch to Paul then it could be enough to get Victor off James’s back too and we might see a totally different Double Eviction play out on Thursday night.

What do you think of James’s idea. He can be one very wishy washy Houseguest so I couldn’t bank any plans on this just yet, but if it takes shape and gets backing then oh my it’ll be fun to watch. Once the Veto meeting is over today it’ll be too late for Paulie to move Zakiyah to safety and the game could be on.

‘Big Brother 18’ Double Eviction Week Has Arrived
By: Matthew Boyer | August 8, 2016 at 11:00 AM EDT

Welcome to Double Eviction Week on Big Brother 18! Finally we’re in for what is easily the most exciting live show set up we can get each season and I don’t think we’ll be disappointed this week either as we’re preparing for some strong potential of surprise attacks.

Julie Chen hosts Big Brother Double Eviction live show

Let’s do a quick run down of how this Thursday’s Big Brother live show will play out and where several of the Houseguests stand on potential Double Eviction plans because there’s been a lot of talk growing with the suspicion and expectation that a DE must be just around the corner.

Houseguests might suspect a DE is coming, but they won’t actually have it confirmed until Thursday possibly during rehearsals as I imagine the Vets will at least pick up on any unavoidable cues, but the DR shouldn’t be hinting at it during the week. Once it arrives things are going to move quickly.

Instead of the usual paced out evening with the vote about 40 minutes in to the show and then a quick start to the HoH comp we’ll get a short intro and then the eviction vote will kick in and that HG will be out the door. Since we’ve got a potential Round Trip ticket out there Julie will need to check the first evictee’s card so they know whether or not this HG will be returned to the game to participated in the next round.

Once we know what’s happening with the potential RT ticket the HGs will immediately head outside to prepare for the first HoH comp. That winner will get a commercial break to decide his or her two nominees and announce the news.

With two noms on the Block the HGs will race back outside to compete in a quick, likely physical Veto comp. That winner will have another break to make up his or her mind and then announce his or her decision and we’ll get the final noms of the week whether or not the new HoH has to get involved. Now it’s time to vote again and another HG will be out the door.

Things should break for the show at that point and the HGs will be left trying to catch their breath while waiting for a late night follow-on HoH competition. Once the backyard is broken down production will set up another competition for them. Now that second comp could be given to the HGs in rough format earlier in the day and when that happens Big Brother typically tells all the HGs to practice. That’s a huge giveaway since the outgoing HoH would have no reason to practice unless he was eligible to participate again. So that would likely be the tip off.

We’ll get those new HoH results likely in the middle of the night so be sure to get our Big Brother App or join us on Facebook and Twitter for updates when it happens.

So what are all of the Houseguests planning to do when they find themselves in the middle of the Double Eviction? Oh there’s been lots of talk in the past two days. Let’s run through the discussions.

Julie Chen hosts Big Brother Double Eviction live show

Remember how Da’Vonne warned Victor on her way out the door that he was the DE target? Well Victor was confused by that and went to work with the very guys who are planning to pull that off on him. Yes, that’d be Paulie and his allies working in the shadows against Victor.

Paulie spoke with James and Corey overnight on Saturday that he wants Victor targeted along with Bridgette on the Block during the Double Eviction and both of those guys agreed. The next afternoon it sounded like Victor was maybe discussing make James the target and we heard more of that later.

Last night Paul, James, and Nicole all agreed that Bridgette would be their ideal target to go up. Then just after midnight there was talk from Victor that now would be the time to take advantage of HGs being annoyed with James to make him the DE target. So much back and forth with competing views.

Lots of talk going around on these plans but I think the most likely combo will be to see Victor and Bridgette going up and Victor could end up evicted. If you only watched the CBS episodes then you might think that “Executives” alliance was real especially with Paulie suggesting that to be the case in his DR sessions, but it’s not true. The guys are using this fake alliance to lull Victor to sleep so they can get him out without him seeing it coming.

If Victor does go during the DE then boy is he going to be upset. Da’Vonne warned him and instead of putting his HoH reign to use in getting out those enemies he made them allies and followed their instructions just to get caught in their web. Oops.

Who do you want to see targeted and evicted during this week’s Double Eviction? Remember it’ll arrive Thursday night at 9/8c and we’ll be here doing our live recap at 9PM ET so be sure to join us for all that fun. I LOVE Double Eviction shows! Even when the outcome is terrible it’s still the most exciting and unexpected night of the season.

ig Brother 18’: Voting Open – America’s Care Package Round 3

Posted: 08 Aug 2016 12:30 PM PDT

A new week of Big Brother 18 brings a new round of voting for the next America’s Care Package and this time the power is getting even stronger though it does have a goofy side effect to go along with it.

America's Vote on Big Brother 18

“Super Safety” is the prize up for grabs this week with voting running through early Friday which means this power is NOT for the next eviction round caught in the middle of the upcoming Double Eviction. Instead this power will go to someone who survives Thursday night’s show.

CBS explains this new power as “The good news is, the holder of this care package will be safe for the week. The bad news is, this Houseguest must also wear a “Super Safety” costume all week long.” A silly unitard & cape is a small price to pay for total immunity for the week.

When you go to vote remember that you have 20 votes each day resetting at midnight so if you wait until after Thursday’s Double Eviction then you’ll only get the two days to vote and miss a lot of potential votes. But when you decide to vote keep in mind this week’s nominees are Michelle and Zakiyah then the most frequent names tossed around are Victor and Bridgette as the DE targets. It’s all a gamble, but if you’re vote recipient is eliminated then the prize goes to the next in line.

Voting ends Friday, August 12th at 10 AM PT (1 PM ET) so get on over there and start voting!

Who do you want to win the ability to have complete safety for next week? Vote now at cbs.com and make your decision wisely.

‘Big Brother 18’ Spoilers: Week 7 Veto Ceremony Results

Posted: 08 Aug 2016 11:39 AM PDT

This week’s Veto Ceremony was held today to give us our final noms of the week and we now have the latest Big Brother spoilers for our Week 7 Power of Veto events.

Power of Veto Medallion on Big Brother

With Zakiyah and Michelle on the Block we’ve seen a lot of back and forth between the guys over who should be the one to go. Now with the chance to change up the noms there’s an opportunity here to pick and choose who could go. Read on to find out what happened today at the PoV meeting.

Power of Veto Ceremony Results – Week 7:

Paulie decided not to use the Veto
Michelle & Zakiyah remain this week’s noms

No surprises here and no one acted surprised when Feeds returned. Paulie feels secure in getting Michelle out, but with James’s latest revelations that may be about to change.

Michelle expressed frustration to Zakiyah over Paulie’s lack of action. Zakiyah said she wasn’t going to talk to Paulie about it, but we know that’s because she already did and knew this was coming. Michelle promises Zakiyah that if she has the Round Trip twist ticket and returns then she’s going to blow things up in this game.

What do you think of Paulie’s decision. Should he have taking the path of certainty and made sure Zakiyah is safe this week? What if James really does decide to flip the vote on Paulie. Paulie could really regret this week’s decision come Thursday night.
