I'm not sure how much $$ they would have to pay me to go see this thing but it would be a lot ! I can't help but think how 'happy' the publicity machine for it must be by now. At first they no doubt realized the unpaid publicity coming their way when the parents of the theater shooting victims spoke up. And I suspect that affected the initial turnout.

This reviewer has a reputation for plugging off beat films and this is no exception, but who cares about the Jokers back story anyway, or the Riddler, or Cat Woman, Etc. ? And now the CW has a new female Batman 'replacement' about ready to step in. Good grief...... Rolling Eyes

... But, should the stranger entries in the superhero landscape also connect at the box office, we’ll start to see a rapid expansion of the genre......

More likely that 'terminal silliness' will turn viewers off rather quickly.
