I was wondering when the new season would start since most of the CBS shows have already announced. I was thinking that it might be that it was because of the obstacles of producing that type of show in NYC where they film outside a lot and they have a mayor who is hostile to the police, not to mention the crazies wandering around randomly attacking the police and possibly their crews by extension. But I guess they overcame all obstacles. It will be interesting to see what sort of plot lines they come up with given all the hostility toward their subject matter.

When Bridget was on Kelly ! this past week she explained that they found an isolated spot where few people know about to film most of their out door scenes. They stayed away from downtown NYC where they usually film outdoors.

I love NY. Looking forward to the day when I will be able to travel there again. Thanks for the update on Blue Bloods. I have been wondering where that was.

A good season premiere. Abigail has a new hair style and they are using new camera angles in the close-ups of characters in outdoor shots. Wonder why ?

I don't mean to seem obsessed with Abigail's hair style. I had decided that she had just let it grow longer between seasons, but then on You Tube I saw a bunch of her appearances on talk shows, some 5 years ago, and her hair looked exactly like it does on this season of BB. So maybe she had cut it after that period and then let it grow out again. I guess I'll have to investigate some fan sites to see if anyone else has noticed this....

Baker hardly ever has scenes out of the office and when she does this happens to her ? C'mon writers, surely you can come up with better plot lines.....

Baker threatened to leave 1PP last night but she never will and maybe with another season the writers will see fit to give her an episode doing detective things....
