More To Love....

A new twist on the Bachelor show, only this time the women are plus sizes, and so it the guy......I am not watching it, but I did tune in to the first show just to see the girl from "Brighton, Michgian". She was cute and not as large as some of the women. The really funny thing was as they got out of the car to meet the guy, it showed their name, age, hometown, and........weight. Now, I don't really think this was necessary, and why would these women allow that just to be on the show??!!!! We can easily see they are a little overweight and some a little more, but do we really need to know their weight??? I agree that plus women can be very beautiful......as the guy states at the beginning of the show, but I think showing their weight was not appropriate. It is not a weight loss show.

I think the women have very little power to say what they do or don't want to have happen. The contract they signed probably has a lot more to do with their obligations to the show than the shows to them.

But they are getting paid, they are on tv and they MIGHT end up with the man of their dreams (although that rarely happens in these shows, does it? ) So they probably have to face the fact that their weight is a pretty central part of this show. So I guess I'm not surprised they went that far.


But tacky?? yes.
