Ok, who doesn't LOVE a good musical wih a great message.....and John Travolta as a woman!!!! This one should be lots of fun with many big names in it.

I saw the "Making of Hairspray" on cable....the actress who plays Tracey is an unknown and new to acting...she worked at Coldstone Creamery before auditioning.

Saw Hairspray yesterday and I would highly recommend it! The girl who plays Tracey was really good and John did a great job playing a woman!

I heard that there was a young man in it who should be a cinch to become a big star...from seeing it,do you know who I mean?

It was probably Zac Efron (plays Link Larkin in the movie). My daughter said he was in "High School Musical".

I also liked Christopher Walken (Wilbur Turnblad) in the movie, he was a real hoot! :P

No,I looked it up. Variety thought Elijah Kelly (Seaweed) was a stand-out performer with a big future.
