Haven
Here is new show that is full of unsual things. Somethings are believeble and some not so much.
I think the FBI agent is an alien or an immortal like the main charcter in Highland.
I recommend it.....

Yeppers. I second that. I've watched from the beginning and really like all the characters.

Re: Haven
I never read the Steven King book that it's based on. The title of the book is misleading, you'd think it was a western....
I like it, about as much as The Gates.

Re: Haven
Based on all of your comments, I'm going to have to add Haven to my "watch" list.

Re: Haven
Some of the stories are just too weird and out there. They need to come back to the underlying story of her mother and her real identity a bit more in order to keep me interested. I hope they do that soon. I do like her and the boathouse/restaurant guy, they have way more chemistry than she does with the the cop partner.

No one's running around hollering "there can be only one". So, I think we're safe for now.Space Pilot wrote:

Boathouse guy is the same guy that was Xander's BFF in the first episode of BTVS. I see him guesting around so much and I'm always surprised how much of a career he's made...(don't know why exactly but..)
I also wish they'd spend a lot more time on the mystery mom storyline...but I think it's one of those 'if we solve it, show's over' sorts of things so for now it's shadows with independence and rather active taxidermists projects...

Oh my gosh Sandisea I didn't even put that together. That guy was such a dork and this guy ... isn't

I still see him as a dork, I just can't help myself.

Re: Haven
Last night was the season's finale. I think it totally lived up to my expectations. The surprise reveals were surprising. And I have come to like all the main characters. Well, not so crazy for the town's doctor...but she is so newish, she probably just needs time to grow on me. But I do...enhtusiastically...want more of this show.

Re: Haven
That was a pretty good finale. I always "forget" that it's a Steven King creation rather than a straight 'detective' type of show so when a "Kingish" supernatural plot turn pops up it's sometimes distracting, but then I remember "where I am" and all is okay....
