Three Inches
James Marsters is currently in Toronto filming a SYfy pilot called "Three Inches". Here is what I find to be an amusing tale of a random fan's attempt to photograph the set.

Thanks to Anonymom for the head's up. Notice that James is standing with the small group of 4 actors...and notice the store that they are standing in front of!

Re: Three Inches
I've heard about that project, in fact there is a post about it in here somewhere. They should come to NM to film it. What are they going to do when winter comes and they are still out there ?.....brrrr. It looks pretty cool up there already.

Also on that site you'll notice a link to a Summer Glau article, that gets us fanboys stirred up, and it says she'll be in a new series next year, The Cape. [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]
Remember some of these ? :

Re: Three Inches
Syfy posted this today at FB
Check out what's new & coming up on Syfy in the next year. More Warehouse 13, more Eureka, more Haven and other favorites. New shows like Alphas, Three Inches & Battlestar Galactica: Blood & Chrome and more. Can't wait!
So, looks like Three Inches is a definite for later in the year!

Re: Three Inches
Well, apparently Mr. Stupid of the Syfy Stupidheads is still running this network. They have passed on Three Inches as a series tho they will be showing the pilot.
In better news, James has just been cast as 'David Frost' opposite Stacy Keach's 'Richard Nixon' in L.A. Theatre Works production of FROST/NIXON.
Road trip!!!

I recognize Stephanie Jacobsen (Melrose Place) and Naoko Mori (Torchwood) who have joined SyFy’s drama pilot Three Inches as a regulars.

Re: Three Inches
The Boston Globe reminds us
Three Inches 9 p.m., Syfy
Attention fans of the Whedonverse: It was announced a while back that Syfy passed on picking up this series starring James Marsters - late of “Buffy the Vampire Slayer’’ and “Angel’’ - but the network is airing this pilot episode. It focuses on a man who is struck by lightning and is imbued with the ability to move any object 3 inches with his mind and a group of similarly unusual “superheroes’’ he falls in with. Apparently, the Syfy powers that be were not so easily moved. Surely, Spike would’ve been able to persuade them.

Re: Three Inches
It's a 2 hour program. From 9-11 EST so take that into account if you are DVRing it.

Re: Three Inches
Just finished watching the pilot. I enjoyed it thoroughly. It didn't seem silly or boring. It had a lot of good characters, lots of action and a touch of humor that I don't find in Alphas. I am so sorry that I'm not going to be seeing more of this show. I would have been a faithful viewer for sure.

Re: Three Inches
I liked it too. I understand why SyFy did not want it to run Three Inches at the same time as Alphas. The shows are very much alike. The only bit of humor Alphas has is the one autistic kid. So there is no chance of them making more Three Inches. I know it seems unlikely since it was filmed so long ago and everyone is off doing other projects now. Too bad.

Re: Three Inches
I missed it, but am sure it will be repeated. I guess they won't be showing it on their Saturday night movie. That's always reserved for the Earth in Peril from monsters/asteroids/natural disasters/insect infestation movies.
