The Fighter

Got to see this movie today. I can see why it garnered so many Academy Awards. What a performance Christian Bale gave. His twitchy crack-head washed up boxer who still thinks the world revolves around him was mesmerizing. In contrast, Walburg underplayed and held things together nicely. This is really a whole lot more about your annoying family and making your own choices and still recognizing the importance of your family in your life and they in yours. A very thought provoking movie.

I wanted to see it..I plan on getting it from the library in a few months.

I picked The King's Speech and Black Swan instead.

I haven't seen either of those yet but they are certainly on my "Must See" list.
