Inception Empty Inception

I'm not surprised we didn't have a thread about this yet. It was a lollapolooza of a movie. I will say that I loved the originality of the plot. I did not know where this one was headed. And the special effects were out of this world.

Here are some of the memorable quotes and a trailer, if you haven't seen it yet

When I went to this I went with a friend...it was a theater with big puffy rocking chairs that the persons head in front of you barely peeks over...20 years ago they were seats of bliss, still are to a degree but I digress..I tossed my scarf over the chair in front of me while turning to sit...did not see the woman sitting in that chair, who kind of freaked out just a bit. I was super apologetic and kind of, well really embarrassed..my friend had a sense of humor, the woman did not...which made me really want a hole in the floor to open up and take me away....anyway..

I knew that if they executed it right that this one would be a brilliant movie, having Chris Nolan who did Dark Knight was a real hint that this was going to be great...kind of like when you see the Coen Brothers...you just know.
And it was...I remember someone saying how much they didn't like Ellen Paige (Juno) and didn't see how it was possible to see her as anything but childishly annoying. well, alrighty then...I was really happy to see she got an adult role and was also happy over how good she was.

There was another guy in this movie Joseph Gordan Levitt ((500) Days of Summer, that I always wanna see. He did this movie that didn't get much attention called The Lookout. Get a hold of it, if you can!

And of course Leo...does he do bad movies? Probably, but name them....please...and I wouldn't go see Titanic in the theater because I really didn't want to like him and wasn't going to fall for the hype...being stubborn about the small things really is stupid sometimes...case in point.

Back to Inception. It's such a big screen movie, great story, great visuals, just all around great...I kept thinking it had the same sort of vibe as Momento....or even The Usual Suspects, highly creative, unnerving and a big What!!!??? I have to see that again!!! in the end.

It's a must see.
