Big Brother 13 pics # 2

It was a funny evening last night. Around 10-11 pm PDT everyone was in the back yard bs'ing and playing games. Of course most of the women were high school cheerleaders so they were trying to remember their old cheers and the "moves". Then they got the "brilliant " idea to try the "pyramid" where 4-5 women boost one woman up on their hands and she raises her arms over her head as she hits the 'top'. So they convinced Daniele to be the one to be raised up. She said she doubted she'd raise her arms up though....so she got as far as putting one foot into their interlocked hands...and then the Big Brother "controller" came on the intercom and said "Stop !". He no doubt didn't want to rush someone to the hospital in the middle of the night. :lol: They all laughed and said, "Ha-ha Big Brother, we fooled you." They had had no intention of actually doing the lift.

The BB 'controller is the guy that comes on the intercom and tells anyone to go to the store room whenever their clip-on mics fail, and get a new one. And tells anyone to put their mic on if they forget , and tells someone to go to the "diary room" whenever it's their turn to do the 'private remarks' sessions that they show during the live shows.

Later, Rachel and Dani are inside looking at the Gypsy Fortune Teller booth in the hallway, the kind you see at carnivals, etc. . The fortune teller also happens to look like a zombie with a cigarette in 'her' mouth. Rachel and Dani figured that the fortune teller would 'come to life' if they could figure out how to turn it on. Dani checked behind the booth and said it was plugged in but there wasn't any obvious on/off switch. But she fooled around back there and all of a sudden the fortune teller starts swaying back and forth and it's bulging, green, zombie eyes rolled around. They squealed in delight, Brenden came by and said," what are you silly girls up to ?" He wasn't sure that Dani had actually turned it on...the BB controller may have done it to 'give them a treat'. Anyway, after a couple of minutes it "timed out", or he turned it off. But they looked at the eyes and said, "Look ! the eyes have stopped in a different position ! Let's go tell everyone that the Gypsy's eyes moved on their own !".....they eventually didn't do that but it was getting late so I went to bed....

Porsche stops by to see what they are doing...this was before they turned it on..







Dani looking hot; The moveable camera operators, who are "on duty" around the clock whenever anyone is awake and moving around in the house, can zoom in on anyone as well as pan the cameras....and they always make sure to zoom on the hotties....they aren't stupid....that must be an interesting job... :lol:




The rumor is that Dani's dad, Evil Dick, left the house on the second day for "personal reasons", those being that his brother had been killed in an auto accident. Whatever the reason, it won't be revealed until Thursday's live show. I don't know why they won't announce it tonight. Of course tonight the POV competition will be shown, it took place on Friday.

You will recall that the Exec. Producer is a woman and she does a good job in what must be a tricky job. She brooks no shenanigans from the house guests. A couple of seasons ago, she booted a woman off instantly when she threw a tantrum and threw her mic and transmitter in the jacuzzi.

Right now the live feeds are turned off because the house guests are playing a secret game that the producers don't want to be revealed until a live show. In the meantime they are putting up a multiple choice quiz...I can barely answer 2 out of 5 correctly. I don't know how some fans can remember things that happened going clear back to season 1. But then I am such a bad fan....

Only a few days into Big Brother 13, former winner Dick Donato has exited the house due to personal reasons, leaving his daughter Daniele as a lone player.

The Big Brother motto is “Expect the Unexpected.” In the premiere episode of Big Brother 13, viewers and houseguests were hit with three big twists: they will be competing as pairs, three dynamic duos of former houseguests returned, and the Golden Key was introduced. On the morning of July 8th, the biggest surprise, however, occurred on the live feeds as one houseguest had clearly left the Big Brother house.

As pieced together via conversations on the live feed, Dick Donato, the 48 year-old rocker and former Big Brother champion, left the Big Brother house for personal reasons, which apparently involve his girlfriend in Colorado (RealityBBQ.com, July 8, 2011). Daniele Donato, his estranged daughter, who is also in the Big Brother house, remains in the competition. She was assured that the ‘personal reasons’ had nothing to do with her immediate family, and she could continue on in the game. Since her partner left the show, Daniele received the ‘Golden Key,’ a new twist on Big Brother.

The Golden Key

As explained by host Julie Chen in the premiere episode of Big Brother 13, the Golden Key is given to the surviving partner of a duo after an eviction has taken place. This houseguest becomes safe until only ten contestants remain and does not have to participate individually in competitions, which will continue to take place as pairs. He/she still gets to cast votes for eviction. This means that Daniele Donato will be safe in the Big Brother house for the next three weeks.

Dick Donato was the winner of Big Brother 8 back in 2007. He was a controversial player who developed a secret alliance with his estranged daughter Daniele, which took them to the Final Two. Although Dick was praised for his strategic gameplay, he was also disliked by houseguests and viewers alike for his personal attacks against other players. In fact, many fans had urged producers to remove Dick from the game during Big Brother 8 because they thought his negative treatment of the other houseguests had gone too far.
