Captain America
Saw this tonight. It was good over the top fun. And if you stay all the way thru the very long credits...there is a little bit of the sequel to see.

Re: Captain America
Thanks for letting me know. Been wanting to see it but can't convince somebody that it's worth seeing. There's going to be a sequel?
Re: Captain America
Joss Whedon's The Avengers is the sequel, I take it. Trailer had all the recent superheroes...Thor, Ironman and a bunch I don't know coming together to form a group.
The credits are sooooo long and most people didn't know about the teaser at the end. So it was an empty theater except for us watching it.

Re: Captain America
The Avengers was filming here last spring. Cobie Smulders was in town to shoot her role as Maria Hill. She played in the celebrity softball tournament in May on the Breaking Bad team, left field.

Re: Captain America
All of the ones leading up to The Avengers have the clips at the end of the longest credits ever seen...if you need to use the facilities do...and you'll still be back in time to see the clip....walk slowly.
There were a few really good movies in the genre this summer. The best were this one, and the X-men reboot and Thor. Both Capt A and X-men seemed not to be just written for teens.
I didn't bother with either Green Lantern or Green Hornet-- just based on their reviews.
Lots more of these in production for next year.
Meanwhile I stand by my summer favorites being Super 8 and Midnight in Paris. (as much as I liked The Help)

Re: Captain America
I'm going to see Cowboys and Aliens on Thursday. Not my first choice but then I'm not paying....
