Friday Stargate SG-1 and Atlantis have new episodes! YIPPIE!!! Although this will be the last 10 episodes for SG-1! I hope they end it well!

I like both Stargates... It's an interesting concept for sure.

I'm sad to see SG-1 end. I'm happy Sci-Fi took over and the show had a whopping 10 seasons! :whee: I also feel sorry for Ben and Claudia. I hope Sci-Fi puts both of them to work soon!

Ben is willing quite well with Sci-Fi. As is Claudia.

The following story contains MODERATE SPOILERS for the fourth season of "Stargate: Atlantis."The
cast of "Stargate: Atlantis" will change dramatically in the upcoming
fourth season, according to Joe Flanigan, who plays Lt. Col. John
Sheppard on the series.Speaking to
SciFi Wire, Flanagan talks about the loss of Paul McGillion (Dr. Carson
Beckett) and Torri Higginson (Dr. Elizabeth Weir) from the cast, and
the addition of "Stargate: SG-1" mainstay Amanda Tapping as Col.
Samantha Carter."She's a real
veteran, a real professional; she knows the genre and can tackle the
gobbledy-gook of science fiction dialogue perhaps even better than
David (Hewlett, Dr. Rodney McKay), which is hard to do," Flanigan said
of Tapping.Tapping joins the
Atlantis team after 10 seasons on "SG-1." In addition to the move, her
character also will get a promotion. According to the show's producers,
Carter's position as Sheppard's superior may lead to some conflict.
Flanigan said he has found some difficulties with this."One
of the problems is she's such a likable character," Flanigan said.
"It's impossible to find any fault with her character. You can find it
with mine. I'm a smartass. David's a pain in the ass, so there we have
character faults that we can kind of get nailed on. But she's a deep,
functional human being. And it's been a little challenging."Still, Flanigan said that he and Tapping have worked to find the conflict."Drama
isn't interesting when people get along," he said. "It's interesting
when they butt heads. That's why people love soap operas. They're all
killing each other or making love to each other or killing each other
and making love to each other. When everybody just gets along, it could
be a little dull. So we were trying to create some areas where we would
have a little friction."Executive
producer Joseph Mallozzi also said the transition won't be easy for
other reasons as well. Carter and McKay have a history."There
will be a little friction off the get-go," Mallozzi said. "But they're
both adults [about it]." Mallozzi promises that McKay's unrequited lust
for Carter will be addressed. "That gets touched on very early on."Tapping
isn't the only new addition to Atlantis. Jewel Staite ("Firefly,"
"Serenity") makes her first appearance as Dr. Jennifer Keller in the
Season 3 finale, which airs on June 22 in the United States. She will
return for at least four more episodes in Season 4. Staite previously
appeared on Atlantis as a young Wraith in the episode "Instinct."According
to executive producer Robert C. Cooper, Staite is "fabulous." Others in
the cast have hinted that Keller may develop a romantic relationship
with one of the other characters and will become friends with Carter."Stargate: Atlantis" airs Fridays at 9 p.m. ET on SciFi Channel.

With all of that info on the upcoming season of Atlantis,I'm surprized they didn 't mention that one of the women cast members is pregnant in real life and the show has decided to embrace that and bring it into the show storyline....I won't say who. Don't want to SPOIL anyone.

Larry has been making fun of me cuz' I have it on and am not really watching it (more like listening to it) cuz' I have seem them so many times!
