Sweetwater

The Sweetwater River is in Wyoming. It's a tributary of the North Platte River. It runs along the highway by Independence Rock and I think the Oregon, California and Mormon Trails follow near by it for many, many miles. Which would make since because there is not a lot of water or rain in some of those areas.
