Les Miserables

Finally got to see this. This is a wonderful adaptation of the play version. All the actors do a fine job with the singing and the marvelous part is you can see that they are doing it "live" as they are filmed. They weren't brought in to dub it in perfectly in the studio at some later date. I believe Anne Hathaway will be a contender for all the awards this season and Hugh Jackman is phenomenal. Is there absolutely nothing that man can't do to perfection? I was worried because I was warned it was a looong movie. But it is action filed and time passed without me even noticing that. The audience gave it a round of applause at the end.
