Sitcoms dying ?

It is true that I can count on one hand the sitcoms worth watching or the ones that I watch....which is the same thing... :P but this might be a little too pessimistic: "When history looks back at the 2012-2013 TV season, it might be considered the year the sitcom died. "
Modern Family , Big Bang, HIMYM, Happy Endings, The Middle. At a lower level but still occasionally pretty good is Whitney, Suburgatory, Don't Trust the B...., Two Broke Girls, that's about it....
