BB day 33 Tuesday
So over night it looks like the eviction target has shifted from Aaryn to Kaitlin and everyone is trying to reassure GinaMarie that she is just a pawn and not to worry. But they seem to have figured out that the audience was responsible for putting her up since she was next in line with votes after Elissa.
The Big Brother 15 Angels Of Death Face Their Own

Big Brother 15 - Angels of Death
Last week I joked that the Mean Girls alliance was actual a trio of angels of death as all three of their showmance/fauxmance partners had been evicted. Now it looks like it’s their turn to face the chopping block.
Once the dust settled from all of the MVP chaos we were left with three final nominees: Aaryn, GinaMarie, and Kaitlin. One of these three girls will be going home on Thursday. Now it’s just up to the HGs to decide who they want walking out the BB15 door.
GinaMarie was never a real target even when she was being considered as an original nominee. Now that she’s up on the block as Elissa’s replacement for the MVP nom things are no different. She went on a silly tirade yesterday that she’s been nominated because she’s a competitor and she’s ready to compete. HGs laughed at her for this since there are no more competitions and she won’t be doing any competing as a nom.
Aaryn was the ideal target for the house. No one really likes her and even those that don’t mind her are just using her as cannon fodder and a puppet. Aaryn’s game has been a dead man walking in the house for sometime now and everyone knows it, including Aaryn for the most part. This would be one of those evictions where you’d leave no vengeance seeking ally behind as even Kaitlin and GinaMarie are voicing annoyance with Aaryn.
Kaitlin is about to have a bad week. Again. Last week she used the Veto to save herself and saw her in-house boyfriend walk about the door as a result. Part of that deal was a promise that she’d be safe and earn the gratitude of the house. Maybe Helen shouldn’t talk for future HoH’s and house decisions.
On Monday Kaitlin became the new favorite target. She’s more likable than Aaryn, at least by a little, and she’s a competitor. Now the house wants her out for that. Best of all, they want to keep it a secret and make it another blindside. Of course that will probably last 15 mins before Helen tells her. Then Andy tells her. Then Andy tells Amanda that Helen told her so Amanda tells her. Then… you get the idea.
What do you think of the HGs options? Should they stick to the original Aaryn plan or is Kaitlin the right choice for this week?
And all this uproar about Elissa's reaction to learning that she was America's first choice to go on the block seems academic at this point since she won POV and took herself off. She will no doubt be the target again in subsequent weeks if the third nominee is again selected by the viewers because there are a lot of Rachel haters out there, and by extension her sister. But for at least another week she's safe.
'Big Brother 15' Spoilers: What Made Elissa Cry?

I should probably give you fair warning that this Big Brother 15 article is going to be all about Elissa, and therefore, half of you will agree with me and half of you will hate me. That's just the way it is. Rachel Reilly's sister is one of the most polarizing figures in Big Brother history, and just like oil and water, Republicans and Democrats or Chinese food and vodka (don't ask), her fans and haters will never be able to work well together.
SPOILER WARNING: This article contains Big Brother 15 spoilers.
Elissa was America's choice to be the third nominee, but then she won the Power of Veto and GinaMarie went up as her replacement.
And Monday afternoon, Elissa started crying. A lot. Why?
Well, everyone in the house has basically figured out the twist this week, that America voted for the third nominee. Elissa was in the HoH room with Judd, Helen and Spencer and they tried explaining how it worked to her.
They were very nice about it, explaining that almost everyone probably voted for Aaryn and Kaitlin, but some fans just wanted to "turn the ant farm upside down" (Spencer's expression) by putting up the person who won MVP the first three weeks, regardless of who it was.
Here's where I need to point out that their analysis is not entirely true. I suspect it's a combination of Brenchel Army members who didn't realize the rules changed and automatically voted for Elissa out of a lemming-like force of habit, plus the sizeable group of fans who hate Rachel Reilly.
The point is that this made Elissa think that America hates her and that made her cry. She also cried because she thinks people will hate her family on the outside world because of how she's being perceived on the show. Finally, she complained about how unfair it is that America gets to vote for a nominee when they don't actually get to see everything that happens and it's only based on how the show is edited.
Wow. There are about 17 things wrong with her logic, all of which makes me annoyed with her.
To start with, I assume this is all fake. After all, she is Rachel Reilly's sister, and Rachel cried and played the victim and martyr better than anyone. She always whined and sobbed on Brendon's shoulder about how everyone hated her. It's either fake, or it's genetic.
More importantly, as Rachel's sister, Elissa should know better than anyone that there are both fans and haters among Big Brother viewers. She has to know that Rachel isn't some universally beloved figure like Jeff and Jordan, right? Or did she just completely insulate herself from the many people (myself included) who couldn't stand her sister? You would have to be purposefully ignorant to avoid that kind of stuff.
Next, and this is the big one, Elissa complaining about how this is unfair to her is just one of the most blatantly ignorant things anyone could possibly say. Is it "fair" that she won MVP three weeks in a row because of who her sister is? Of course not. So now that the shoe is on the other foot and Elissa is the victim, suddenly it becomes an issue.
Yes, people voting to nominate Elissa or hating her just because she's Rachel's sister is unfair. But having the Brenchel Army vote for her simply out of blind loyalty to her sister is EQUALLY unfair. As the song goes, "You take the good, you take the bad, you take them both and there you have the facts of life." If you want all the benefits of being Rachel's sister on Big Brother, then you have to be willing to accept the negative parts as well.
The whole thing just rubs me the wrong way. If Elissa is that concerned with her image, then maybe she shouldn't have agreed to be on Big Brother 15. I understand when people who aren't familiar with the game get upset because they didn't know what they were getting into, but Elissa should know better.
Elissa should know that there will be viewers and fans who love her, and some that hate her. She should know that Rachel Reilly is one of the more divisive figures among Big Brother fans and that there were a lot of bad things written about her the first two times she played the game.
So I will not feel badly for Elissa. You don't get to use the unfairness to your advantage, then complain when it's unfair against you. And you don't get to come on this show as the sister of a two-time former HG and then complain about how CBS may be editing you or that some people watching might not like you. Those things were inevitable.
I don't expect this article to solve the great Elissa debate, but I hope you'll at least understand that my dislike of her in this instance comes from her hypocrisy and apparent ignorance of how the game is perceived by viewers.
