Low Winter Sun

Low Winter sun is a police drama set in corrupt Detroit about corrupt detectives investigating the murder of a corrupt detective who they murdered and dumped him and his car in the river. There seem to be different levels of corruption and different levels of redeeming qualities among the characters. Interesting show so far with a good cast.

Tried it once, didn't grab me probably because it's set in Detroit and the characters aren't interesting.  

Ben likes it. It seems too dark for me to enjoy. 

And as of today an AMC rep says no decision has been made on the fate of rookie drama Low Winter Sun.

No great loss if it goes.....tried it once, characters not interesting.

I think I only watched 3 or 4 the rest are in DVR limbo... which means they my be deleted without being watched.

We watched the whole series because Ben liked it...but it was all grim stuff.

AMC has cancelled this from their line-up

Not surprising. It compared poorly to other AMC shows.

I will give it that the acting was good. But boy was it unremitting depression on a stick.
