Before Sunrise

This is a movie from 1999 with Ethan Hawk and a french actress. They are 2 young people who meet on a train. He will be leaving Europe to return to the USA in the morning. They spend one day together.

It was sweet and romantic. The thing that makes this intriguing is that there are 2 more movies with the same actors that are made years apart. I am looking forward to seeing the next 2 in the series. Wondering if it will all work out or if they should leave it as a beautiful memory.

Sounds intriguing...and I'm a sucker for a love story that can't possibly work.

Richard Linklater directs the romantic drama Before Sunset, a sequel to Before Sunrise (1995). Jesse (Ethan Hawke) and Celine (Julie Delpy) were strangers who spent a loquacious night together in Vienna. Nine years later, Jesse has written a book about the encounter. During his accelerated European book tour, he reunites with Celine in Paris. Before Jesse's flight home, he joins Celine for a picturesque walk around Paris peppered with intimate conversation: at first, about the minutiae of their day-to-day lives and their relationships, and then about their lingering feelings for one another.
