Extant-some pilot news

Goran Visnjic (ER) will star opposite Halle Berry in CBS's new sci-fi series Extant. He'll play John Watts, the husband of Berry's character. The series follows an astronaut (Berry) who returns home from a solo mission in space and tries to reconnect with her family, which is comprised of her husband and her android son. Oh yeah, aaaaaand she's somehow pregnant.   

Sounds interesting. S-F has a hard row to hoe with major network/mass market audiences but with these actors it should have a chance.
