Judging by the probably appeal, or lack of it, in those upcoming movies, it doesn't look good for him....

I have to say that the trailers have not turned me on to go see this. However, Craig and I re-watched The Lone Ranger and really enjoyed it. People don't seem to have the ability they used to, to "suspend their belief." I've heard people say it was more a Johnny Depp film then about the Lone Ranger. I can agree with that. If they were looking for the film to be a copy of the TV series it would have flopped. Granted my native side would have rather seen someone like Moses Brings Plenty do that part but it was a Depp deal from the beginning.

Depp is a great actor but he seems to be mis-stepping a lot. From what Damon told me about him on the set he was very soft spoken and quite reclusive, but did not hesitate to make sure everyone on the set was very comfortable. With all the movies that are slated to come out with his name on them. I think he needs to step back and rest awhile.
