‘Big Brother 16′ Spoilers: Week 5 Veto Ceremony Results
By: Matthew Boyer | July 28, 2014 at 3:18 PM EDT

Ready to find out what happened in today’s Veto Ceremony for Big Brother 16? The Feeds have returned and the expected results were confirmed as a bigger plan continued down its path.

After last week’s dramatic last-minute flipping with Cody’s decision to shift targets we were in for a much more predictable result, though not everyone in the house saw this coming.

Read on to find out the latest Big Brother spoilers and discover who is now on the block.

This week’s Veto winner, Hayden, used the PoV on Victoria. Frankie named Amber as the renom.

Since the week got rolling HGs in control wanted to go after splitting up Caleb and Amber, but most were more confident in their ability to get Amber out the door so the target fell on her. It was surprisingly easy task for them to get Caleb not only in support of an Amber renom, but they soon had him saying it was his idea.

What Caleb doesn’t know is that Amber is the target and she’ll be going home on Thursday. Caleb thinks Amber is just getting scared in to returning to their alliance and giving him the respect he thinks he deserves. Folks are in for a surprise this week.

The final nominations for Week 5 on Big Brother 16 are Amber Borzotra and Jocasta Odom.

Do you think Frankie made the right choice for the Veto renom? Which of these nominees would you like to see evicted?

Meanwhile this could get out of hand, although if Amber is booted on Thursday it would stop Caleb's harassment.

Should Big Brother Step In & Stop Caleb Reynolds? [PICS]
By: Matthew Boyer | July 28, 2014 at 2:00 PM EDT

Since Big Brother Houseguest Caleb Reynolds was yet again told that Amber Borzotra was not interested in him it seems to be settling in but he’s not taking it too well. Last late night Caleb was acting out again against Amber and it’s got some fans asking if production needs to step in.

Flashback to 5:26AM BBT 7/28 on your Live Feeds (Get the Free Trial now) to find Caleb standing over Amber while she sleeps. He starts signaling to Cody that he wants to hit Amber with a pillow. Caleb slowly pulls one off her bed, hides behind the door, and throws it at her as she sleeps.

Okay, first off, it’s a pillow. No one was hurt. Should he have done it? No. It was childish & stupid, but I don’t think it’s going to get anyone ejected from the game. However, what he started talking about next might require a visit to the Diary Room for a reminder about what’s not acceptable.

Throughout the morning Caleb went around bragging to the guys that he had hit Amber in the head with a pillow. Flashback to 9:50AM BBT as he retells it to Derrick. Then jump to 10:15 AM as he talks with Frankie in the HoH room about it before taking it to the next level.

Caleb tells Frankie he wants to cut up a banana and put it in her food without her knowing. Amber hates bananas and listed it as one of her biggest fears in her bio from CBS. He knows that and it’s why he suggests taking that action. I’m not convinced he’d really do it, but come on Caleb, grow up.

Do you think Big Brother should just let it be or does Caleb’s behavior warrant a discussion in the DR?

This production scheme isn't working out as well as they had hoped, I suspect, so they are trying to revive it. Best to let it die.

Big Brother 16: Does The Next ‘Zach Attack’ Go Too Far?
By: Matthew Boyer | July 28, 2014 at 12:45 PM EDT

After Team America failed to initiate an argument between Zach and Christine at the Nominations Ceremony their plans have changed. Not only is Team America substituting a new target, but Big Brother seems to be allowing them to swap out the original requirements.
Zach Attack prepares to launch on Big Brother 16

Instead of having to create an argument with two Houseguests they’ll now succeed if one Houseguest “berates” another for twenty seconds. Yeah, cause that’s what viewers wanted to see, right? Anyway, the new plan has Zach going on the “Attack” at today’s Veto meeting with Amber as the recipient and Caleb the catalyst. The whole thing ties in to their plan to make Caleb think this is his idea to Backdoor Amber, but is it going too far?

So what’s this Zach Attack going to be? Flashback to 10:42PM BBT Cams 3/4 for his rehearsal. Zach plans to stand up at the end of the meeting and announce he wants to say something. Here’s what he presented to the guys:

There’s something that’s been going on for several weeks that’s been really grinding my gears and is honestly agitating the entire house. There is one individual in particular, who has given his all to another person, who has taken that, spit it right back in his face, and rubbed his head in the dirt.

Beast Mode Cowboy went on the block for you, Amber. He risked $500,000 for you. More than any of your previous boyfriends have ever spent on you. When you were both Have-Nots sleeping in the Ice room, he took his only two blankets, laid them over you so you could sleep in warmth… *Fish cut in* And how do you thank him? By thanking the entire room, one of them being Devin.

In the Power of Veto competition, he chose five thousand dollars over his safety to take you on a cruise. He also ate a frickin’ pickle which he hates more than anything in the world, just so he could take you on a date. You said that you only went on that date with him because you didn’t want to hurt his feelings.

Amber, this is really just a disgrace. How do you think your family feels? Watching you treat this lovely gentleman, who has given his all to you, like trash? Amber, this isn’t the first or the second that Beast Mode Cowboy has saved your life in this game. He is the only person in this house that you can trust. Amber, Beast Mode Cowboy is now the reason today why you are sitting in that orange chair and possibly walking out the door three days from now.

Update: It’s been pointed out to me that Zach & Cody agreed later that he should not reference her family & that most of this wouldn’t make the final cut.

Zach breaks at this point and Caleb starts giving him pointers on what he wants Zach to say next. Later on in the night Zach gives a few more practice rounds and they’re similar to this speech so he could deliver something along these lines if he sticks to the “script.”

The whole thing comes off like a parody of every absurd claim of wrongdoing Caleb suggests Amber has done to him. Even Caleb’s pickle drama made the cut. They’re mocking Caleb at Amber’s expense. I have a very hard time believing any of them, outside of Caleb, thinks it’s a legitimate argument being made, but I don’t see that stopping them.

Team America wants their $5K each and Zach wants another round in the spotlight, but is it too much? Share your thoughts.

'Big Brother 16' Spoilers: Was the Power of Veto Used in Week 5?
Monday, July 28, 2014

John Kubicek
Senior Writer, BuddyTV

Much like last year, the Power of Veto is very popular on Big Brother 16. In season 15 it was used in the first seven weeks, though the replacement nominee only went home three of those times. The PoV has been used four weeks in a row this year, so did this make it a five-peat?

SPOILER WARNING: This article contains Big Brother 16 spoilers.

Hayden won the Power of Veto.

Hayden saved Victoria. Amber is the replacement nominee.

That's right, all five women have been nominated this week. Everything came together just as Frankie and Zach planned.

The goal is to evict Amber and the ceremony included another attempt to complete the Team America mission by having Zach deliver a big speech about how Amber needs to show Caleb the respect he deserves for everything he's done for her in the game. Obviously that's a bunch of nonsense, but Frankie and Derrick pushed him to do it and even Hayden, Cody and Caleb were on board. Basically, everyone in the house except Jocasta, Victoria and Amber knew it was going to happen. The sad part for Zach is that the encouragement to do this, based solely on the Team America mission, is putting a target on his back. Cody, in particular, is really starting to turn on Zach, though Derrick and Frankie try to calm him down (but not too much).

In order to make this nomination work, Frankie wanted to make sure Caleb was on board. Zach and Derrick both started planting the seeds in Caleb's mind that Amber isn't that close to him and is turning on the alliance. That led to Caleb talking to Frankie to reveal "his" plan.

Caleb wanted Frankie to convince Hayden to save Jocasta (obviously that part didn't happen) and nominate Amber, scaring her straight. Yes, in Caleb's mind, he has complete control over Amber's game and wants her to know that by getting her nominated so she'll finally start talking to him again. His goal is for her to come running back to him and then, in the end, they'll vote to keep her as long as she doesn't blow up the Bomb Squad (not that it matters, since everyone in the house already knows about it).

Of course the real plan for everyone else is to evict Amber anyway. There's already a strategy where Christine will tell Caleb that Amber told Nicole about the Bomb Squad, ignoring the fact that both she and Devin already told Nicole.

The entire week is one big ruse. Caleb thinks he's controlling this decision when, in reality, it's what everyone else wanted first. Frankie's plan is to give Caleb the credit, but I'm not entirely sure why since I doubt anyone will believe it. And the fact that Amber is being embarrassed and evicted because she's not into Caleb is absurd. Everyone in the house knows she's the sane one and Caleb is crazy, but this whole thing is based on the claim that Caleb is a stand-up guy who deserves Amber's love.

It's a topsy-turvy, upside-down world in the Big Brother 16 house. At this point, it's probably a good thing that Amber is going to be evicted because it means she won't have to be stuck in the jury house with Caleb all summer long.

In other news, Frankie has seemingly been planting seeds to people like Nicole and Cody that backdooring Zach during a double eviction wouldn't be the worst idea while Hayden admitted to Nicole that he knew about Zach's "fruit loop dingus" speech before it happened. He also told her that Derrick and Cody were in on it. She was upset that none of them warned her she was being nominated, but has calmed down.
