Backstrom
This is okay. I'm not sure it will become "must see" on my list but it is the sort of cop show I would watch other than Castle and Blue Bloods.

"If the show continues, we will all have to become Vancouverites — acting super duper friendly and helpful, following hockey and eating doughnuts at Tim Hortons."
In that interview, in case you wondered what a "Bahai" is, it started in Iran in the 19th Century. Its adherents believe that Christ returned to Earth in 1844. When I was stationed at March AFB one of my roommates for awhile was a Bahai.

Re: Backstrom
I had steered Ben clear of this after reading that it was "House" but not as good. Now, after 2 positive reviews here, I think we'll tune in this week.

Re: Backstrom
I suppose it's closer to House than Once Upon a Time, for example.... but it's really more unique for a cop show.

I get a good chuckle from every episode. He has some good lines.

Re: Backstrom
Yeah, he has no sense of 'political correctness', a good thing.

Re: Backstrom
This is a darn shame. I liked this one in spite of having reservations at first.

Re: Backstrom
Rainn Wilson's new stuff. Not sure when if this will get wide release at theaters but sounds interesting.

Seems like every few years several new movies or series spring up about robots or AI.

Re: Backstrom
Yeah, I guess they see a chance to make a profitable movie when the 'mood' of the viewers is right. And of course there are always the 'true believers'.

So let's look out for this: "unnerving emergent behavior "......

Re: Backstrom
What with "Humans" and "Mr. Robot" on series tv now, this is getting to be the new trend...are vampires and zombies out of fashion now?

Re: Backstrom
Not out of fashion, just on hiatus until the new seasons start of TWD and FTWD. And we have The Strain just starting S2 so vampires and zombies will still have a special place in our and robots will always be a viable subject for S-F, never fear.
