Spectre
Spectre...the new James Bond movie is one I really liked. Not always a big fan of the endless action and car chases...this had all that but more character development.

Re: Spectre
Will see it next Tuesday, $5 day. The Bulkow 105 helicopter that does the roll can be rolled according to heli pilots who have flown it. I have one in my R/C simulator that runs on the computer and I have tried rolling it.....successfully.....but it must be done at a high enough altitude because it doesn't have negative collective pitch on the main rotor and falls like a rock when upside down. Not an important consideration for most of us but something to keep in mind if you ever roll one.

Re: Spectre
Saw it today, one of the better ones but had a "watered down" feel to it vis-a-vis Bond's relation to the latest "Bond girl"....different than the "old days". But in the end he gets his reconstructed DB-5 back so all's well that ends well.
Wow ! I just found this site. It will certainly save me a lot of time looking up registration #s of aircraft in movies.

They also determined that the OE-FZO reg. # is false, took me ~15 min. to decide that also. The Britten-Norman Islander isn't a common aircraft in the U.S.

The reg . # on the helicopter that Blofeld crashes in at the end, G-LCPL , also seems to be false. Nothing turns up on the British reg. site.
Here's a useful page that tells how to identify aircraft in movies. Everyone should save this...

Then I went to the 'unidentified aircraft' section and while scrolling down I see that Emile was in a miniseries in 2013, "Air Force One is Down". I never heard of it...

Re: Spectre
Pretty good movie but the ending seemed weak and un-Bond like.

Re: Spectre
True, but it looked like they were setting it up for a sequel, not that they need to......$$$$
