I'm always up for time travel S-F so will check it out.
Whoever wrote that review needs to be fired. It's not Abigail Breslin in the female lead, it's Abigail Spencer, one of my favorite actresses, so I'll be watching for sure.

The time machine seems more 'modernistic' than the one in 12 Monkeys, the other good time travel series now on TV. But it's the type of machine that goes literally to the target time, whereas the 12 Monkey machine just transports the people while the hardware remains in the lab. There are pros and cons for each method.
