Re: Hell or High Water
I'm going to see it tomorrow. Same writer as for Sicario which is a great recommendation in itself because Sicario was one of the best I've seen in awhile.

Re: Hell or High Water
11:15 am on a Tuesday morning and the theater was over half full. Always a good indication of how a movie will do at the box office. And it's obvious why it's getting the good reviews. There is hardly a word of dialog or scene that doesn't hold your interest or contribute to the overall 'feel'. The villages of Moriarty and Estancia out along NM 41 get their 'screen fame', and the back streets of Portales, and some 'drive by scenes in Artesia, and the wide open plains of NM along the TX border are the main backdrop.
