Passengers
This probably lives up to its hype. The technology became a little to complex to follow, logically, toward the end but that's what we get for just living in the 21st Century rather than whatever Century the movie took place in, didn't say but it's pretty far in the future. But it's good training for us for when the robots take over and we are relegated to the trash heap of history. At least Einstein's theories still hold and they don't fall back on Hyperspace or wormholes.

Re: Passengers
Interesting. I took one look at the trailer and thought I had figured out what the end would be. But based on your comments, I'm probably wrong. I do want to see this...and the other one with Chris Pratt, the sequel to

Re: Passengers
Don't know what you thought the end would be but you may be right because it was one of the logical endings. Myself, I never thought about it, but was fairly pleased by the ending.

Re: Passengers
I finally watched it. Pretty good film and a lot of cool movie magic involved. Certainly a couple of space travel and gravity errors come to mind but I liked it.

Re: Passengers
I've wondered if the water would rise up out of the pool and form the globular shape as it does in zero gravity if there weren't anything to disturb it. The friction of the water against the sides of the pool would help keep it in place. Of course you could postulate that some tremor in the ship or sufficient outside force such as Jennifer diving in was enough to 'get it moving'.
It wasn't as tension filled and 'exciting' as Life but had a better ending.....no spoilers...

Re: Passengers
Bruce Dern would have awakened all of them, lol, while trying to save the trees

Re: Passengers
I hated Bruce Dern as a kid because he was the bad guy in that John Wayne movie the Cowboys. Seriously it took me years to get over it so I guess he did a great job. Hmm... maybe I'm still not over it.

Re: Passengers
I don't remember seeing The Cowboys so carried no hatred toward Bruce, and can't actually remember all the shows I've seen him in over the years.
