Aside from the merits of the picture, which I never considered seeing, the concept seemed odd, trying to partner with China on movie productions seems fraught with obstacles given that they always want production control and the Commie bureaucracy must be daunting to wade through.

I've tried to avoid Matt Damon movies in recent years. Better luck next time.

Yes, I can't remember the last time I saw one of his movies. Lately they seemed to have veered into leftist propaganda.

One of the funniest bits at the Oscars was Kimmel congratulating Matt on being so generous in giving the part in Manchester by the Sea to Affleck who just won the Award for best actor in that and sacrificing himself in taking the "lesser" role in "The Wall" which has lost many millions $$$ already.
Shortly thereafter, Damon stuck his foot out in the aisle as Kimmel was walking passed him.
