BB day 25
Jessica has been the target for awhile ever since it was obvious that Cody would be booted. I'm not sure what the interest in booting Dominique is, she hasn't been a comp. threat or secretive 'schemer', but I guess Jason has his reasons, although he has yet to demonstrate much in the way of strategic vision.

'Big Brother 19' Spoilers: Who Won the Week 3 Power of Veto?
John Kubicek
Senior Writer, BuddyTV
The Power of Veto has been crucial for the first two weeks of Big Brother 19. With a house in chaos, will the results of this week's competition keep things calm or cause even more scrambling? Adding to the excitement, the HGs were surprised with an unexpected PoV competition that took place on Friday night instead of Saturday afternoon.
SPOILER WARNING: This article contains Big Brother 19 spoilers.
Alex is the new HoH.
She nominated Dominique and Jessica.
Jason, Kevin and Christmas were picked to play. However, because of her injury, Christmas was not allowed to compete.
Jason won the Power of Veto!
Right after the competition, Paul talked to Alex and pushed for her to have Jason use the Power of Veto on Jessica and put Mark on the block as the replacement nominee. That would guarantee that Dominique gets evicted and take away the only person actually campaigning to try and keep her.
However, Jason seems to prefer the idea of putting up Raven next to Dominique. But Paul pushed Alex and Jason very hard and convinced them to talk Mark into agreeing to be a pawn to take out Dominique. Alex is on board with it, but Jason definitely seems upset that Paul is calling all the shots. Paul then went down to talk to Matt and Raven about this plan..
How Serious Is Christmas' Injury?>>>
I guess it's pretty clear that Paul is 100 percent committed to taking out Dominique because this would be a huge, killer move. It's definitely helping Paul solidify his alliance with Alex, but it could definitely lead Mark to make some big moves in the future. And with his Pendant of Protection about to expire, Paul is still playing very hard and trying to control everything and everyone.
FUN FACT
The person who wins the third Power of Veto competition has never won the game, nor have any of them made it to the Final 3. However, about one-third of them have finished in fourth place: season 17's John McGuire, season 14's Shane Meaney, season 11's Michele Noonan, season 10's Keesha Smith, season 5's Jennifer "Nakomis" Dedmon and Over the Top's Justin Duncan.

Re: BB day 25
At this point it looks like Cody has clear sailing to win the Battle Back next Friday. The only unknown is who will be booted on Thursday and be the 4th person to compete. But since it looks likely that it will be a woman, that is a less likely threat to Cody.

Who Do You Want to Win the Battle Back on 'Big Brother 19'?
John Kubicek
Senior Writer, BuddyTV
On Thursday's live eviction show of Big Brother 19, Julie Chen confirmed what has been long suspected: the Battle Back is back. On Friday, July 21 we will get a special episode where Cameron, Jillian, Cody and the next evicted HG will take part in a Battle Back showdown to decide who will return to the game.
Julie did specify that the HGs still in the game will have the opportunity to stop the Battle Back, but that seems very unlikely. The common wisdom is that the Battle Back will be the curse unleashed if the third and final Den of Temptation offer is accepted, which it obviously will be since the Halting Hex is a huge power that gives someone the ability to cancel one of the next four evictions.
Who Is the Week 3 Target?>>>
So even though we don't know who will be evicted this week (early talk suggests that Dominique is in real danger, with Jessica and maybe Christmas or Mark as alternatives), we do know three of the competitors. But which one do we want to see come back into the house?
Cody: Obviously he's the biggest and most well-known personality, someone who can win competitions and isn't afraid to make big moves. Seeing him come back would cause plenty of drama and probably create the most interesting game.
There's the added bonus of this year potentially mirroring last season. When Victor won the Battle Back, he initially worked with the nemesis who backdoored him (Paulie), but eventually it was Victor who got his revenge and took Paulie out. Since Cody has said he would want to work with Paul if he returns, history could easily repeat itself with Cody as the new Victor and Paul as the new Paulie.
Jillian: Um, let's be honest, no one wants her to come back. She was a non-entity in the game. But to play Devil's advocate, Jillian's two best friends in the house were Alex and Ramses, so if she returned perhaps she could serve as a bridge between those two and help make Alex trust Ramses, thus creating a stronger underdog alliance.
Cameron: This would be the biggest wild card. Cameron was evicted on the first night and has no relationships in the house and no idea what the heck is going on. It would be hilarious to see him come back and try to piece together all of the massive game drama that he missed, from Megan leaving to Cody's failed attempt to backdoor Paul to Christmas breaking her foot.
He would be a total blank slate and it would almost be like a brand-new HG entering the game after a month. His return would also provide some type of justice for Jodi and Glenn, the two other HGs who were unfairly evicted right away.
So which of them do you want to return, or are you hoping that whoever goes home this week will win it and walk right back in?
The Big Brother 19 Battle Back episode airs Friday, July 21 at 8/7c on CBS.

Battle Back on July 21st
It sounds complicated but in the past has played out pretty straight forward.
Big Brother 19 “Battle Back” Special Episode Confirmed
Posted: 14 Jul 2017 11:30 AM PDT
Julie Chen’s announcement last night that this season of Big Brother would feature a “Battle Back” episode next Friday night this probably came as no surprise to you. I told you a week ago that it was happening! Now it’s officially confirmed for its purpose, but there’s a twist that goes with it.
Julie Chen confirms Battle Back on BB19
We’ve now got three of the four evicted Houseguests who will face off next Friday, July 21st at 8/7c on CBS and streaming live on All Access in most markets. Cody was sent out the door to join Cameron and Jillian and you know Cody has to like his odds with that roster. The only unknown for him is who will be sent out the door this week to add another obstacle to the first three evictees’ path back to the Big Brother 19 house.
Last year we saw the evicted HGs paired up for competitions starting with the first evictee going against the second. The winner there moved on to face the 3rd and so on in a knock out tournament style. The earlier you were evicted the more challenges you faced to return. That’s probably how it’s going to happen again this time, but for Big Brother 19 there’s another twist to it.
During last night’s reveal Julie teased, “In a Big Brother first, the Houseguests will get the chance to stop their return to the game.” Hmm. What’s this little twist about?
Okay, so we know the Temptation voting for the Halting Hex, the last in the series of this season’s twist, will keep votes open until next Wednesday. That means we won’t see the winner revealed this Sunday, but instead next Sunday in the episode after the Battle Back show.
So what they could end up doing is having the Halting Hex’s “curse” side effect all a HG back in to the game, that HG being the winner of the Battle Back. This way we will see the Battle challenges play out no matter what but then do a cliffhanger for whether or not that he or she actually returns until Sunday’s show.
Who do you hope wins the Battle Back? Right now Alex is targeting Dominique, but with Jessica in the mix that’s always a possibility too. Think Cody would be willing to beat Jessica or could he decide to let her take the win if it comes to that? We’ll find out next Friday night at 8/7c and you can be sure that we’ll live recap the whole thing that night. Can’t wait to see what happens!
