BB day 44
It is of course a no-brainer. There is no way that Jessica won't use the Halting Hex. She and Cody have 'made up' after their falling out over Cody's hot headedness when confronted by Paul last weekend. She had wondered if/when they stay together outside the house will Cody be a constant embarrassment to her. The answer to that is 'yes' as anyone can see, but at the moment she is blinded by something, maybe love... But still, she has turned out to be a level headed, logical person. Because she is judged to be 'hot', these qualities are often unfairly overlooked. Several HGs realize this now and have tried to point out that Cody is not good for her game in the house, but they have avoided mentioning the ramifications if they stay together outside the house. In past seasons there have been only three instances of showmances continuing outside the house, that resulted in successful marriages but the people involved were all 'normal'.
Jeff married Jordan (who won season 11). Dom married Daniele (my favorite HG) but neither won a season. Brendon married Rachel (who won season 13, and stretched the boundaries of 'normal', at least while she was in the house)

We finally get to nine votes after weeks stuck at ten in the Diary Room on Big Brother 19 only to have the whole thing resting on the edge of Jessica Graf’s big decision tonight. Will she use her Halting Hex and throw the HGs for a loop?

Really though, there’s no mystery here. Jessica has to use the Hex. Last night’s episode left us with a cliffhanger trying to suggest that Jessica might not know whether to save Cody or hang on to her power for an extra week. Ain’t gonna happen.
Paul has his targets right where he wants them, but that isn’t good enough this time around. When Jessica uses her Hex it’ll stop the vote from even happening as she’ll have to make the announcement before anyone goes in the DR. The vote will vanish, no one will be evicted, and the night will carry on to the next HoH comp, a putting challenge, to secure the power and control of the next nominations. The lack of voting will give more time for the HOH comp., unless production uses some sort of 'filler'.
Of course it’s entirely possible that Jessica decides against saving her ally Cody, but it’s so illogical that I’d be shocked even by Jessica making that kind of move. We’ll be watching to see what happens because should there be a vote the HGs will have to decide to get their bigger comp threat or the nominee who holds a special power for another week.
Join us back tonight at 9/8c to find out, but while we wait share your thoughts on what you expect.
Thank you for voting!
No One! Halting Hex. 87.65%
Cody 10.87%
Jessica 1.48%

'Big Brother 19' Spoilers: The HGs Practice for the Week 6 HoH Competition
John Kubicek
Senior Writer, BuddyTV
It looks like this week of Big Brother 19 will be a dud with Jessica most likely using the Halting Hex to save herself and Cody, so now all eyes are on the next HoH competition. On Wednesday night they were given a practice apparatus in the backyard, giving everyone a good idea what the next competition will be.
There was a mini golf-style set-up in the backyard where the HGs hit a ball with a big club, trying to navigate various obstacles and get the ball into a crate. Obviously this will be the HoH competition on Thursday night, and these comps are typically called crapshoots because anyone can win it. There's a little skill, but a lot of luck.
Which Side Should Elena Choose?>>>
All of the HGs were given 10 practice swings. They're just getting a feel for it, but it's really anyone's game. During the practice, Raven got her ball into the crate 3 times. Cody and Kevin both got 2 in, Alex, Mark and Christmas all got 1 in and the rest didn't get any.
There's going to be a lot of drama because basically it's 9 vs. 2, with the entire house against Cody and Jessica. Their only other hope is Mark, who has told them that if he wins the HoH, he won't put them on the block, even though Mark knows that's what everyone wants him to do. Elena might be another question mark, though she seems firmly in Paul's pocket despite liking Jessica.
Will Cody, Jessica or Mark pull out a win, or will Cody and Jessica be the obvious targets for next week? It's bound to be a dramatic HoH competition, especially if one of them gets to play last. Watch it unfold on Thursday at 9/8c on CBS.
