BB day 51
I don't know how long she's been doing this, it's never shown on the live feeds. It would require action by the producers except that she will almost certainly be evicted tonight so that will solve the problem. Of course Cody has vowed 'terrible vengeance' upon the HGs all their descendants for time immemorial so no telling what they will face in the future.

Should Jessica Be Forced to Leave the 'Big Brother' House over Unwanted Butt Poking?
Derek Stauffer
Contributing Writer, BuddyTV
The Big Brother houseguests have never been immune to controversy. Nearly every summer the actions or words of a contestant get called into question for being in supremely bad taste, at the very least. Big Brother 19 certainly hasn't had an innocent in this regard, with accusations of racism and bullying running wild. The latest controversy to hit the house has quickly become one of the most bizarre. According to TMZ, houseguest Jessica Graff has landed in hot water for poking her "roommates" in the butt without their permission.
Has the Game Become Too Harsh on Big Brother 19?>>>
The incidents began as a part of Jessica's efforts to "rile things up" before she is inevitably evicted. Jessica has taken to repeatedly sticking her fingers in fellow contestants' posteriors and no one is happy about it. Jessica's main victims have been Paul and Matt. According to Alex, Jessica has done it to her too, however -- even going so far to poke Alex in the vagina.
All of this particularly upsets Alex. Alex told Josh that these incidents make her extra uncomfortable because her cousin was raped and murdered. Alex doesn't want Jessica touching her or anyone else. Yet despite efforts by the house to tell Jessica to stop, she hasn't halted. Instead she's laughed it off as a joke.
TMZ even reached out to people outside the house, but involved with Big Brother, to get their thoughts. The site caught up with Big Brother 13 winner Rachel Reilly and BB17 contestant Meg Maley to ask them what they thought about it. While Meg was mostly silent, Rachel didn't think the poking is any big deal because Jessica is a woman. Rachel admitted it is a double standard because if a man was doing it, it should be shut down but with Jessica it's harmless.
Rachel did end her thoughts by saying that if the house asked Jessica to stop that she should "calm it down." Otherwise it is all excusable because they are roommates in the house and roommates "joke around." It's not something that really endangers anyone or crosses the line, in Reilly's opinion. Maley did add that she felt the safest in her life while in the Big Brother house because producers are always there and everything is being recorded.
The Big Problem with the Big Brother 19 Cast>>>
The whole thing, especially the phrase "butt poking," might sound silly but it is something that should be stopped. Jessica's butt poking is along the same the lines as Josh banging pots and pans / bullying the other houseguests. It's not gameplay in any form. It's just petty, irresponsible and gross behavior. It's harassment, albeit in a very small form.
If the houseguests are truly uncomfortable with Jessica's behavior and she will not stop, Big Brother should step in and her make her stop. The butt poking does cross a line if people are getting legitimately upset about it and Jessica has shown a complete disregard for their feelings. It's not something that is worth getting her ejected from the game, and not just because it's very likely she will evicted by the house, but regardless, it's something that shouldn't be happening.
Jessica's butt poking is another example of the nasty and psychological game that is being played in the Big Brother 19 house. It just happens to be happening because of Jessica, this time, rather than directed at her.
But what do you think? Is the butt poking harmless? Would it be OK if it was a man doing it to a woman? Should the producers step in? Is harassment or just good fun?

Re: BB day 51
This is a little over the top. While it is true that some former HGs, a very small number, have gotten 'fame' and/or jobs because of their season on BB, there is very little day to day evidence that this seasons HGs are trying to ride the "fame
and fortune wagon." We never see it on the CBS shows and it's rare on the live feeds. Only Paul and Christmas have 'outside jobs' that might benefit from their being on BB. The HGs from past seasons who profited with jobs or attention were also few. Jeff, because he has an actual talent as an interviewer and of course Jessie Godderz who has a 'talent' that is hard to describe but he is a professional wrestler so that gives you some clue as to his 'show biz' talents.
The HGs that were cast on the Amazing Race, for example, may have seemed like a good idea to the producers but they proved to be undistinguished in that 'role'.
Casting only true fans may be a good idea but how hard would it be to find that many, who also are entertaining.

The Big Problem with the 'Big Brother 19' Cast
John Kubicek
Senior Writer, BuddyTV
Big Brother 19 is heading down a bad road. Paul is in complete control of the game and almost all of the HGs seem content to let him pull their strings and dictate orders, from who to target to what to say. And while some may hope for a Paulie Calafiore-style fall from grace in a few weeks, that is starting to seem less an less likely.
The big problem with Big Brother 19 isn't just the game, it's the people. The casting department may have picked a few unique, entertaining characters (Kevin and even Cody make for very good TV), but this cast is not good for the game.
Has the Game Become Too Harsh?>>>
Elena has talked on the live feeds about wanting a job in entertainment after the show is over. Raven constantly complains about her many diseases and how she needs the money for surgery and to freeze her eggs. She seems to think this is a charity and not a game show, which isn't a surprise since Paul has said that he will create a Raven-themed shirt for his clothing company and donate the proceeds to her after the game is done. And Christmas has mentioned wanting to stay in the game long enough so that she will be relevant on social media, presumably to help her business career and sell some more of her books.
None of this is good for the game. Many of the HGs seem more consumed with the tiny sliver of post-show fame they can receive for being a reality TV star or the potential career and financial opportunities that will be associated with it. Winning is no longer the point of the game, now being a Big Brother HG is a future career.
And you can't really blame them. CBS regularly brings back popular HGs to be on the show again, or cast them on Survivor, The Amazing Race, The Price Is Right, Candy Crush or The Bold and the Beautiful. Jeff Schroeder even got a job from CBS hosting interviews with the HGs. The network has created a culture where being a fan favorite is a more profitable venue than trying to win the game.
So when Paul, a returning player who perfected the art of branding yourself on the show and using it to boost your post-show career with T-shirts and public appearances, entered the game on Big Brother 19, is it any wonder that everyone flocked to him? If they become best friends with Paul and help him in the game, he will repay that "friendship" by helping them when it's over to cash in on the experience.
Is There Anyone Worth Rooting for on BB19?>>>
There's no incentive to play the game hard, to make big moves, to risk everyone for a chance to win. Instead, the HGs want to stay on good terms with Paul because the prize that their eyes are on is not the half million dollars and being named the winner of Big Brother 19. They're already looking past the game.
The solution, something I champion every year but which never changes, is to stop recruiting fame-hungry wannabe TV stars and, instead, cast actual fans of the game. If Big Brother casts people who care more about winning the game than being famous, perhaps we'd get a more interesting show with dynamic gameplay. Instead, we're stuck with a season filled with people who only care about friendship.

'Big Brother 19' Recap: A Tragic Christmas Present for Jody
John Kubicek
Senior Writer, BuddyTV
On Sunday's episode of Big Brother 19, Josh made it clear that his real target is Elena and Christmas talked a lot about not doing everything Paul tells them to do. But for this Power of Veto episode, the status quo returns and those flights of fancy are quickly dashed. Josh tries to work with Jessica, but they're both so bad at this game that it's impossible to find common ground. And Christmas is back to doing whatever Paul tells her to do, using her Temptation to essentially seal Jessica's fate.
Josh vs. Jody, Round 47
After the nomination ceremony, Josh goes to Jessica to try and hint that she is not his real target, despite just saying that she was in front of everyone. There's so much bad blood between these two that there's no way this conversation could possibly go well. Jessica mocks Josh and has no interest in talking to him. Josh says that he only hates Cody, even though Cody is in the room and has immunity this week.
Nothing is accomplished because Josh is trying to treat Jessica and Cody as two separate players. That ship has sailed. They are Jody and you can work with both of them or against both of them. And Jessica refuses to hear anything negative about Cody.
The Ring of Replacement
Paul knows about Christmas' Ring of Replacement Temptation and suggests that she should use it this week if Cody gets picked to make sure Jessica goes home. He also tells us that he really wants her to do it so it gets wasted in case Christmas might use it against him later.
Christmas tells Josh about the Ring and says she'll do whatever he wants her to do. He tells her not to use it so they can use it later. But then they make the mistake of going to tell Paul that they don't want to use it.
What Is Paul's New Strategy to Win the Game?>>>
Josh makes it very clear that he doesn't want the Ring to be used and that Elena is his target. Paul keeps pushing his "Jessica needs to go home first" agenda. Paul argues that Jessica and Cody wouldn't vote for him in jury, but Elena might. Christmas tells Josh to look at her and blink hard if he wants her to use it at the ceremony.
When it's time to pick players, Cody's name is chosen. Paul is desperately hoping that Josh blinks to signal Christmas to use her Ring. After a commercial break, Josh blinks and Christmas pulls out her Ring of Replacement, taking Cody's spot in the Power of Veto competition.
The Big Problem with the BB19 Cast>>>
Christmas is extremely happy about using it, smiling and being very smug about it. Paul and all of his followers celebrate while Jessica and Cody retreat to their bedroom and Cody starts crying. She tries to comfort him.
Christmas tries to talk to Jessica about how this isn't personal. Jessica takes it very personal and even Christmas admits in the DR that it's a little personal. Christmas literally scoots away in the middle of Jessica talking.
OTEV
It's the OTEV competition where the HGs go down a giant slide and collect answers to questions, with one less spot in each round. Christmas can't compete because of her injury, so it's just Josh, Mark, Elena, Jessica and Alex. This year's OTEV is a sad pig possessed by a demon that vomits all over the HGs. You have to admit, that was pretty darned funny. The producers always use green slime for that sort of 'punishment'. I guess that's more realistic than blue/red/pink slime.
Round 1: Elena is eliminated and Jessica is the last peson to come back.
Round 2: Jessica is eliminated. Cody consoles her.
Round 3: Josh is eliminated. Mark used this round to stockpile other numbers since the others were so slow.
Round 4: Alex is the first person up, but she dropped her number on the slide, so Mark takes it, even though he isn't sure about his answer. Still, he's right and Alex is eliminated.
Mark wins the Power of Veto!
Mark is happy but Josh upset that he has to put another person on the block. Jessica is sad because she thinks her game is over. She gets emotional about leaving behind Cody all alone. Cody vows to be angry and rip through the house. He tells us that this is personal because of his feelings for Jessica and it's not just a game. We are trembling already.
The Replacement Nominee
Since Mark is using the Power of Veto on himself, Josh needs a new pawn. He asks Matt and Raven, and they don't care at all and are both happy to do it.
Mark uses the Power of Veto on himself. Josh nominates Raven, explaining that she agreed to do it.
Jessica wants to go out with a bang. Cody doesn't care about winning, he just wants to stop others from winning. Paul is happy to steamroll the game. Elena hilariously points out that Raven is just there. Josh STILL says he wants Elena to be evicted this week. Um, that ship sailed the second you blinked, meatball.
Josh' obsession with evicting Elena is to his detriment, but it will be interesting to see how he reacts tonight when Jessica is booted instead. Lately he has kept his mental instability under control, but will this set him off ?
