I probably won't see this but it may be the first example of a "social media horror genre"

It's interesting that Alycia Debnam Carey from Fear the Walking Dead has gotten the starring role. Not the first time that cast members from TWD and FTWD have gotten new jobs after attracting attention on those two shows.

Lauren Cohan, Sonequa Martin Green, Norman Reedus, to name a few .....

I don't think either would be considered a must see. There are a handful of other "social media" horror movies out there the past few years.

I remember some of those but never saw any. Doesn't seem to be a genre with a lot of potential unless they can incorporate gun battles and car chases.
