Re: The Brave
The 1st ep was okay, some excitement, some standard stuff for this type of show. The usual high-tech tracking techniques that don't actually exist. Adequate amount of bombs, explosions, gunfire. No sched. conflicts so will probably keep watching.
I'll ask my friend Frank if that amount of Semtec would blow up a vehicle to that degree.

When we see Adam explode the Semtec in the terrorists vehicle with his remote trigger, with the Semtec just pressed into the top of the AK-47 magazine, we have to assume that it was done electrically but no such trigger was visible in that brief scene. Homeland got into similar 'trouble' with some of their scenes, one that I remember specifically was the weight of a trunk full of C4. Asking Frank about that via email caused the FBI to tell him to block all future emails from me. So I now ask all such questions in person.

Re: The Brave
I've watched the first two episodes and I kind of like The Brave over Seal Team so far. Impressive body count to a network show too.

Re: The Brave
I haven't seen Seal Team yet other than a few minutes but the greater fictional aspects of The Brave gives them greater freedom in plots. It sort of reminds me of Homeland with more shooting.

Re: The Brave
It reminds me of a good show on Cinemax, Strike Back which dealt with a small British tactical team, many dead bodies, spies and so on... and yes the babes because it was cinemax. But it was very entertaining.

Re: The Brave
Every Monday night on the local NBC news they have a couple of cast members in studio to talk with before the show starts. Last night Sophia Pernas was one of them. I had already determined that she was the best looking cast member, but had never heard of her, or seen any of her previous work. In person, in the studio she's even more stunning than in the series.
