This is the Captain Marvel that I remember.

But now we have a new , female version, wearing a green suit ! What the....? and there have been other versions over the years that I've never heard of, having 'gone off' comic books about 1953....after the Weird Science and Weird Fantasy comics ceased publication there wasn't any reason to continue

Brie Larson is certainly pleasant to watch in her various roles and she will no doubt do a good job in this one, but it's not Captain Marvel !

I did hear about this and decided I wasn't interested. Call me old fashioned but there are a lot things out in their second or third or beyond creation that really, shouldn't be redone at all. Cough, Roswell reboot......Cough.
