At least they are shooting in NM rather than Covina.  Much cheaper I'll bet.  I'm sure the new Max and Liz are fine actors but they don't look quite "right" for the parts. Maybe the actual scenes will be better.

I hear Shiri Appleby will be directing one of the episodes of the new show. They should also ask Bill Sadler since he directed one of the episodes of the original Roswell. IMHO

It might be simple to get Brendon to appear in an ep since he lives here, but that would throw everyone into a 'tizzy' of speculation and confusion.....which would be entertaining in its own right.

I don't know anything about this site or its accuracy. It's obviously run by a non-native English speaker, I'm guessing Russian. If an old cast member does come back it could be Sheriff Valenti.
